Okay, I did the crystal clear version. My brown hair is about 25% gray and looks a bit blah, so I thought this might help it look a bit smoother (and shinier, of course). It did! And it's cheap and easy to use. I managed to miss that I'd need a shower cap and live pretty far from town in the woods, so I had to improvise—no cap handy? Use a plastic shopping bag. I used a hair clip to make it stay where I wanted, but you could probably just tie it. Success. Look at me, MacGyvering my way into instant gratification. Beyond that, my hair looks great. I forgot to take a before shot, but if you have graying hair, you know what it looked like...kind of course and a bit unruly, because gray hairs are ***holes. It kind of diminishes the appearance of them color-wise, too, though I'm not sure how (just trust me, I'm mid-50's and a lot grayer than this pic suggests). I don't know how long it will hold up, but I'll get two more uses out of this bottle with my hair in this pixie, and at this price, who cares, eh? Two thumbs up.

I bought the clear because I wanted to bring some shine to my dull 4c natural hair. It was easy to use and it didn't have that awful smell of chemicals. I must say I can see a difference. Defiantly shinier and it looks more healthy. Now I will see how long it lasts. the bottle is small so if you hair is shoulder length this is only 1 application. But if it's short like mine you get two.

excellent stuff - beats temp colour twice the cost. We’ve ( age 56 and 15) been using this in various shades for years - the more you use it the slower it washes out. Applying - use a clarifying shampoo, towel dry, apply for at least an hour, rinse - do not shampoo it out it’s like a conditioner. it leaves your hair super soft and with loads of body. Recommend for thin hair you’ll love it. it doesn’t stain the skin and wipes off with a baby wipe. Obviously if you wash your hair every day it is going to fade quickly but use dry shampoo and wash every few days and it will last weeks. You’ll probably need two bottles for very long hair - mine is short and a bottle lasts at least four applications. Love this stuff - i’ve been dying my hair for 40 years and this is the best temp dye i’ve ever used.
