BOSCH GTL2 Laser Level Square

Okay quilters!!! I ordered & just used the BOSCH GTL2 LASER LEVEL SQUARE, included were adhesive mounting strips. I’m a beginner quilter & I’m using it to square up my quilts. Works wonderfully for this task! I’m thrilled to have found it at a great price, it’s compact, laser level works well with accuracy & uses 3 AA batteries. Does the job exceptionally well!!!

This is one of those tools that make you say, "why didn't I use one of these things years ago." It is accurate and very easy to use. I've used it both for flooring and setting picture frames on the walls and it works great for both applications. As others have mentioned, the lasers are NOT super bright. If you are in a very well lit room, you will notice how the laser fades or degrades. In darker rooms not an issue at all. I haven't tried it outdoors yet but I cannot imagine this would even work under direct sunlight. I bought it during one of the Amazon Prime sales at a much cheaper prices. Hard to beat for how useful the tool is!

So you are getting what you pay for. Its accurate, but dim. You can't use it in any bright light. Works just fine in the basement. At 30 feet, the line is like 3/8" wide. If your wife has you doing tile for the first time in the bathroom, this is money well spent. But if you are running big time tile jobs, either spend the big bucks on a nice one or just stick with the tried-and-true 3-4-5 triangle and chalk-line method.

I originally bought this Laser Square as an aid for aligning an automobile front recognition camera system, and quickly realized what a versatile tool this is. Install the batteries, turn it on, and you will see how many applications you can come up with. This is a very good, sturdy, all around laser to have, very intuitive to use, even if all you do is hanging pictures on the wall, and the price is reasonable. Besides having utilized it for some high tech applications, I have used it for hanging decorations on the wall, aligning seats & tables, and writing straight on blank paper (yes, it is that versatile). In my opinion, it is a must have item in any tool kit.

My son bought a new home, 310K, ripped out all the carpet and old tile. Wanted my help to put down 1200 feet of new tile. "NOT WITHOUT A NEW LASER"! I bought this one and not a moment of regret. 30+ feet of beam, easy and it hits the front of each spacer many feet away as well as the cement between the tiles along the way. Perfect 90º and we were able to match seams between rooms with doors on two walls opening to halls and the kitchen within a fraction of an inch. Well worth the price of admission. Now if it just came with knee pads ';-)

I love this square, and if you do any kind of renovation / home improvement work on a regular basis, you should buy it too. So far I've used it for tiling, framing, and cabinet work. The line is quite visible in all but the brightest direct sunlight. This is so much easier to use than a level, pencil marks, whatever else you've done in the past. Like any good tool, this will save you time, make your job easier, and help you do a better job. Highly recommended.

Give you perfect square. For tiling or even give you a perfect straight when hanging picture frames.

As expected, this low-price unit, has a pretty dim output. Would work fine indoors and for a small project. Say bathroom tiling or perhaps quilting. If using on a full floor construction type project, you have to use reflectors beyond anything about 6-10 feet. The real value of a floor line laser, is to get that continuous visible line on the floor, not to have to find it by hand. The unit has some leveling feet, but they were not intuitive, and I didn't take the time to decipher.

Zeitersparung beim "Heimwerken" ist enorm. Bilder aufhängen, Ausrichten und Vermessen usw. geht in windeseile! Ich kann dieses Tool nur empfehlen!

Using this laser square just made squaring up my quilt tops and blocks a breeze. Wish I had found it years ago. Taking it to my quilt guild meeting to show others how well it work. Saves me hours of measuring with the tape and ruler. Turn it on, line up you edges, mark or just place your ruler on the line and cut. and you are done. Fast.

Cómo toda la calidad bosh, es inigualable, solo tengo un pequeño inconveniente con que sea de baterías, me habría encantado que fuera recargable, su funcionamiento excelente, entregado mucho antes de tiempo, muy contento con mi compra

Aunque no puedo hablar en primera persona, pues ha sido un regalo para un familiar, me dice que cumple su función perfectamente, está contento con él y le es muy útil. El envío fue rápido y bien protegido. Se volvería a comprar sin dudarlo.
