Using with Uclips I-Bars
These 1lb fractional plates are perfect for making steady progress without overloading your lifts. The set includes two plates—ideal for symmetrical loading on Olympic bars. They’re solid steel, well-machined, and feel premium in hand. No rattling, no paint flaking, and they slide on smoothly. If you’re serious about strength training and want to fine-tune your gains, these are a smart, durable addition to your gym setup.

Breaking Plateaus. Weight is dead on!
I purchased the 1.25 lb set of Micro Gainz fractional weight plates and I am extremely impressed by the quality, packaging, and craftsmanship. These plates are perfect for making incremental jumps on barbell exercises when I just can't make that 5lb or 10lb jump. The plates come well packaged in a branded box that fits them perfectly. I am very impressed that these plates are made right here in the USA. This is important to me because I noticed that most fractional weights on Amazon are just "Alibaba" specials imported from China. The value is huge with these plates. They are less expensive and feature a much higher quality than the Chinese counterparts. The plates themselves appear to be made from powdered metal. This is perfect for 2 reasons. First, they are made using a mold so the weight is dead on everytime. Second, they are very strong and durable. They are coated in a flat black finish which matches all the other plates at the gym. If you are looking to increase your max weight in any exercise or you are looking to break a plateau, these fractional weight plates are by far the best Amazon has to offer.

Excellent choice for steady progress.
Overhead press is my weakest movement, and these little guys are helping me make steady progress now that +5 lb each workout is a bit much. Great quality and finish, and I love that they’re made in the USA.

Perfect for their purpose
I bought these for my wife because the gym at which she trains does not have plates smaller than 2 1/2 lbs. She's been using them for over a month now and they serve their intended purpose perfectly. They are true to weight, their finish is of good quality, and they of course fit a sleeve how they ought to. If I'd have known about Micro Gainz when I got my Rogue change plates, I'd have bought these instead: they're cheaper, weigh exactly the same, and are made in the USA.

Good quality, USA made and a fair price.
So here is the deal on these Micro Gainz micro change plates: 1). They look better in person than they do in the pictures. Smooth, even paint coat and incuse logo (that means not raised but indented into the plate). They look nice. 2). The Olympic size sleeve holes have decent tolerance, not perfect but better than some foreign made plates I have encountered that have a quarter inch of space between the hole edge and the barbell sleeve. 3). They weigh really close to what they are supposed to weigh. 4). Made in the USA, but prices still are same or lower than calibrated micro-plates from other companies that sell plates made in China. In summary, these are very decent little plates at a reasonable price, look better than micro plates from some other much bigger names in the business, and are made in the USA.

Nice little weights
Came on time and are as advertised, fit my Olympic bar just fine. I couldn't find 1 1/4 lb Olympic weights anywhere locally. Now instead of having to jump up 5 lbs at a time (one 2 1/2 lb plate on each end) one can just increase the weight by 2 1/2 lbs. When you plateau this can help you break through as the weight increase is so minimal. Then you can pull off the 1 1/4 lb plates and put on the 2 1/2 lb ones for another only 2 1/2 lb increase and so forth.

Overpriced, too wide. Skip this.
They're too wide. Wider than my 10 lb bumper plates which is ridiculous. Also ridiculously priced, if they did some cool manufacturing to make it narrow and bumper-like it would be worth the price but it's just cheaply made and overpriced. I was hoping to increase bar weight slightly (have Rogue c90s for my home gym, shortie bar, limited bar weird 33 lbs wanted a round 35) without losing much space but this isn't good..
