Quick & Easy Carrots: Ready for Soups, Stews, Casseroles
In a hurry? You need these in your pantry. Just add a tablespoon or two to your favorite soup recipe and in about 10 minutes, no one will ever know that you didn't take an extra 10 minutes to peel and chop fresh carrots. Really. They're that good. And the best part is you never again have to throw out carrots that have grown slimy and root-bound in your fridge's veggie compartment. These stay fresh in the pantry for a couple of years without any preservatives or artificial ingredients added. They taste sweet and fresh once re-hydrated. These are a new pantry staple for me, along with Harmony House's Vegetable Soup Mix and several other dried veggies. Highly recommended for their high quality; a winner! UPDATE 7/26/15: Still love cooking with these, but recently had a brainstorm of a good idea: I've transferred all my dried veggies in my pantry from their plastic containers into widemouth quart size canning jars something like these: Ball 67000 Quart Wide Mouth Mason Jars, Silver Lids pack of 12 . Easy access, safe air-tight glass storage & the ingredients are easy to see, at a glance.

Great carrots.
The small packed dehydrated, carrots are delicious and clearly harvested at the peak of Flavor. They are tasty with a Naturally, sweet taste with no additives of any kind. They are great For a whole meal. Or to keep in the refrigerator as snacks my dogs also loved them. I have small little dogs so having these so small and soft I donโt have to worry about the dogs choking on them

Great for soups
I use a lot of dried veggies in soups. It saves on wasted veggies that would be left over and not eaten. Carrot pieces are the best. Can taste the carrot. I would like them to be a little bit larger.

Makes my lunch more filling
These carrots were too chewy until I learned to soak them longer. I can get away with soaking them for an hour while I get ready for work but they are better if I soak some overnight in the refrigerator. They swell up a lot. I put them in the frozen meals I have for lunch at work - I cook the frozen meal in the morning so I don't have to wait as long at the microwave at work, and after I cook it and let it cool a little I tip and tap the container to get the food to slide down toward one end, leaving a quarter or third of the package empty to put these carrots in. Then at lunch time I reheat the meal and stir the carrots in. Doesn't affect the taste much and provides a lot more chewing time and I stay full longer. So I am very happy with these carrots. I know I could buy fresh and fix them but I don't have time and fresh carrots would rot and get wasted. These dried carrots are more practical for me.

Very handy and a delicious flavor, too
Ok, so I HATE wasting anything. I have a habit, when cooking, of saving the odds and ends and making a stock. But, while I am doing that, I don't want to take time to cut up the accompanying veggies. These worked beautifully for that purpose, not even slightly vinegary as some dried veggies can be. But, while I was using them that way, I also noticed that they plump up beautifully; so much so that it seems almost a shame to use them in stock. I have also been using them in stews and ragu, where I would normally use fresh, and they work brilliantly there, too. They plump up beautifully and have good flavor, so one actually needs less than one might think. Just a teaspoon was more than enough to flavor a stock from some chicken bones.
