Should the led be blue? I think mine is green instead?

Mine is definitely blue, but each of our eyes can perceive colors differently.  My wife and I often argue  about what is blue vs green

Question 2

If this completely disconnects the battery, then the car's main computer will lose engine settings and or custom settings? Like seats, channels etc.?

Not sure what 'engine settings' or custom settings you mean. Depends on the car. Radio channels? Fairly likely. Seat settings - possibly. But the alternative is you have a low voltage battery, you can't start the car, and when you put the excessive drain on the battery by starting it, you drop the voltage even more and you lose those settings anyway. It's best used on an older car that doesn't have so many electronics on it (I use it on a 2007 Crown Vic).

Question 3

My manual transmission has the step of depressing the clutch to start, can it work on that car?

Yes, Sir. it works. Only press the button  of the battery protector, the battery will recover. And you can start your as usual. No matter Manual or Auto Transmission.

Question 4

What size is the jack on the control wire?  My battery is in the trunk.  I'll need to buy an extension to mount the button in the front.

I don’t know the length of the control wire but I can say that if you have a four door vehicle then it won’t be long enough.   I purchased an extra control wire because my battery is also in trunk and spliced the two together so it could be mounted next to drivers seat.   Otherwise I would have had to mount next to rear seat and if battery is turned then getting into back seat is not practical 😂 since you won’t be able to unlock rear door with electric locks.

I’d suggest buying an extra control wire for sure!   Hope this helps!  Also I love this device!
