Any indication whether these bulbs approved for use in enclosed light fixtures? (some leds aren't, presumably due to concerns about heat dissipation.)

Mine is in an open enclosure, so can't say first hand. However, as far I know and have read, led's generate very little heat, so I'm not sure why anyone would think they can't be used in an enclosed fixture.

How many bulbs are in each order?

One bulb is all we purchased. This was for a kitchen light over the table. I wish I had order a higher wattage, 60w wasn’t even close to the 60w we are accustomed to.
