Great.
Fantastic. Better than Knipex's version which has a garbage handle design and is slippery and has much worse grabbing power. Knipex do have a more stubby one which is good but that's over 50 or 60 bucks. That's the angled one in the second photo. And this engineer still has a much better spring. The Knipex spring doesn't push it enough and also is not removable like the engineer. Unfortunately engineer don't make an angled jaw one currently. Not that I could find. Absolutely grab one of these. Great handle. Great jaws. Great price. Note the chain is my own addition. I like it to not open too much for my uses. I have different pliers for larger things. The chain keeps it very tight and controlled. Can't even do that with the 50 dollar Knipex.

Excellent precision and build quality
Amazing pliers. Comfortable, chunky handgrip, and feels solid and durable too–easy to use with larger hands. These pliers feature extremely precise and strong jaws. I’ve attached a photo of them holding a dime from the ridge, a popular tool truck demo for their small precision pliers. I would compare the quality of this tool to knipex or snap-on, but for a much better value. Being made in Japan with Japanese steel also prevents quality control issues all too common with some *other* imported tools. Great value. Amazing little tool for precision electronics or other small components. Already recommended to all my friends in the industry. 11/10.

Really “tight” action, well functioning and high quality pliers for a great price! So recommend them!

Knipex of the East!
Want to impress your work buddies with a sleeper tool brand? Boom, Engineer. Also branded as Vamplier sometimes (same tools). I like to call them Knipex of the East, because that's the best comparison to the quality on display here. I use these mostly for working with very small electrical parts and they are a serious tool. The jaws have amazing alignment and are dead flat with each other at the tip. If you're looking for pliers this size, this will absolutely do the job. Full send. I've got a bunch of their tools and they are all an amazing value and Japanese made.

almost perfect
exactly as pictured and described. shipped quickly and well packaged. high quality materials and solid construction. pleased with my purchase but i did take 1 star off for what i think could have been done better... the spring used could have been more robust and made of better gauge material.

Precision is an accurate description for these pliers.
First and foremost these ENGINEER Compact Precision Compact Long Nose Needle tip Pliers are a fine example of quality Japanese manufacturing, and indeed are the finest precision needle nose pliers I have ever used in the 40 years I’ve been using them for my current purpose. Though my use may be somewhat unconventional, as I am a quadriplegic with very limited hand strength and finger dexterity. I use these pliers mostly as tweezers as I cannot squeeze or otherwise manipulate conventional tweezers. And I can say without reservation that they do a great job at grabbing a hold of even the finest of hairs. So in my opinion that makes them quite precise. The spring offers just enough tension as to allow me to easily, repeatedly squeeze without fatiguing my hand, yet have enough stored energy to assist in releasing my grip and the spring is holding up after a full year’s use. If and when I need another pair of needle nose pliers, they will definitely be ENGINEER’s.

Excellent micro needle nose pliers
These are a little smaller than you may think so be aware. The are designed for use with electronics, jewelry making, model making, small parts manipulation, etc. They are a bit pricy but exceptionally made in Japan (known for quality steel and workmanship). The faces of the jaws are smooth, not serrated to minimize damage to the object you are working with, spring loaded (easily removable if that's your bag), overall lengths just under 6 inches with jaws just about 1.5 inches long. I have found multiple uses from manipulating electronic parts to holding small screws for driving to assembly/disassembly of small parts in firearms. This is definitely a buy once cry once item, as short of them getting lost or stolen, you can expect these to last multiple lifetimes.

Simply perfect
I can only say that I am delighted with the product. In a world where there are so many low quality things made in China, it is wonderful to have found these Japanese made pliers. Both the finish and the materials are of excellent quality, the jaws, cutting areas and gripping areas are well made, the jaws and tips are well aligned and close perfectly. The various metal parts fit together perfectly, there is not that feeling of wear and loss of material in the movement areas that is so typical of cheap, low quality tools. The only caveat I could give is that the brand offers 2 different sizes for their tools, so it's a good idea to make sure you choose the right one for your needs, also, if you have large hands, you may find the small size tool difficult to use.

Belle qualité nippone
Le produit est d'une excellente facture et bien fini. Tient bien en main. Seul inconvénient est qu'il reste ouvert au repos. Il faut mettre un petit capuchon (fourni) pour le ranger fermé.

Nice but not sure if nice enough
I like the finish, the grips, almost everything, I'm just not sure if those jaws shouldn't close more tightly (I'm giving them a good squeeze in the photo. Maybe I just don't understand plier design. Also, if you'd like to store them closed, it's really easy to DIY something thanks to the grip eyelets.

Excellent quality, useful tool
Excellent quality. Useful tool, sturdier than tweezers but smaller and thinner than most long nose pliers. Flat gripping area reduces chance to damage parts or leave prints on them.
