These arrived in a presentation box. They are well made, heavy and small enough to fit inside my Mason jar. They will be easy to clean and reduces the fiddling with bags of water to weigh my fermented food down in the jar. I'm delighted. Made my day.

Does exactly as it’s meant to, I like the glass, super easy to clean, good size and weight. Will buy more.

Beautifully boxed quality glass weights which can be stacked to add more weight, a perfect fit for my 1.4 litre Lakeland Fermentation Jar. Highly delighted with them and will be buying more in due course.

Not cheap but came beautifully packaged and are a long term good investment for anyone using the very healthy fermentation route for veg. Ideally suited to wide neck jars, easily cleaned/sterilised, easily extracted when fermentation is complete and, most important, do a great job of weighing down the veg to allow the all important anaerobic process i.e. pushes the veg below liquid level. Quite pricey but a good long term buy.

As advertised, nice durable glass weight. Has my fermentation firmly secure under the brine line beautiful! Need to order more.

Correct size for use with fermentation jars, easy to remove due to design and dishwasher safe for cleaning.

Heavy enough to keep the vegetables under water all the time. Easy to remove from the jar after use. I still put whole cabbage leafs under the glass when fermenting. But this I har to do with all other type of weights that I have tried.

These are great weights but very pricy at £14.99 for essentially mass produced lumps of moulded glass. They do work well for their intended purpose. But can be damaged if dropped on a hard kitchen floor and that is easily done when trying to remove them from the jar. Be careful. The indents moulded into them to grip is nice. And gives great purchase when installing the weights. But once wet. Removing them. They are very slippy and you need good pinch stretch and finger mobility to maintain the pressure to lift out. I would buy more but I have found cheaper alternatives.
