We Thank Thee (Gospel)

What can you say other than this CD gives you GOOSE BUMPS every time you hear it. It's no wonder they called Jim Reeves: "Gentleman JIM". His voice & Passion will stir most anyone who believes in the Lord. He will definitely move your spirit to give Thankfulness for all our father has done for us. I do not want to preach here, but I must say if you want to listen to a strong, godly, stirring baritone voice that is sure to give you a spiritual feeling of God, I feel this album will do just that for all who listen. For anyone believing in God this album will truly be one of your favorites & your entire family will enjoy this CD. Buy it & you will NOT be sorry!

I ordered two of his gospel Cd's at the same time. Both had almost the exact same songs. There were only a couple songs on each CD that was different. I do not care. I love this CD, as well as the other one. There is one song, which is on both of these Cd's called "Oh, gentle shepherd". This is the prettiest song I have ever heard. I have to drive 70 miles each way to work. I kept hitting repeat on the stereo for the full hour and one half drive. I can't say that has ever happened before. If you love Jim Reeves, I think you will enjoy this Cd.

My Father when he was alive used to play the Vinyl version of Jim Reeves, We Thank Thee quite a lot, even although I am a hard core atheist I still liked this album,when my Father passed away it was my job to take what I wanted from his apartment and just leave what I didn't want, that was 4 years ago and I regretted not taking the Jim Reeves vinyl LP., so I bought the CD of this recently from Amazon just to remember my Father, and play it sometimes

Jim Reeves is a classic. Only wish his music could be found in a cd form; as players for the cassettes are becoming harder to find.His country music is only shadowed by his gospel music. Truly 1 of a kind. Current musicians are all starting to sound alike and look alike. What happened to our true entertainers, ones that you would travel miles to hear as there was no substitute. Hear one now - you have heard them all. SAD TO SAY!

This is the music of a spectacular singer, Jim Reeves, who was called home all too soon. His voice was wonderful, as are all the songs on this CD. I highly recommend this CD for any Jim Reeves fans or anyone who likes classical renditions of these beautiful songs. So glad Amazon still carries his work; they never disappoint!! All of the songs on this CD have religious significance, and he delivers them in awesome form.

I grew up with this album, and for years I always wanted to get a copy...having it now, I am learning lyrics that I may of said differently.

I searched for this CD to get the song "This House is Not My Home" for a very special male patient of mine. I am a partial live-in caregiver and he loved this song. I bought it for him for last Christmas (2010); but unfortunately he never got to hear it due to his passing four days before Christmas. I gave it to the family on his behalf.

Jim Reeves music is my dad's fav. As a child I love to hear his songs every Sunday, over 3 decades ago. He is so happy to receive a CD copy from me and am glad I did. The delivery was timely from US to UK.
