Country Value Dry Cat Food For Adult Cat, Chicken Flavor, 20 Pound Bag

My cats LOVE this cat food. They won't eat the expensive brands.

I got this food for my cats, but they just dump it out of the bowl all over the floor looking for something edible. On top of that, upon receiving it I noticed the ingredients are terrible for cats. This is just awful food; don't be suckered in by the low price!

We have feed this to our cats for 6 years, until one of them came down with hepatitis, due to this feed and the switch over to meow mix! A $1000.00 Vet Bill, and a very sick kitty in I.C.U., was enough for us to hear from the Vet, that this food is junk food, and meow mix is fast food- and they should NOT AT ALL BE FEED TO YOUR CATS! Sure your cats will love it, just like we many times enjoy fast food and junk food. But, please don’t buy this and use it long term, it has no real nutritional value for the cats.

I've been feeding my 3 happy, healthy cats this food for a couple of years now. I have no problem with it. They love it, and their vet gives them all a clean bill of health.

I sometimes buy this brand whenever I make it into town, but NEVER at such a high price…for 20 pounds.??? Where’s the value?

My cat also has an epatic problem and I suspected of this food. I checked other reviews here and now I know that country value is the cause. I will not buy it again.

There's almost no meat in this at all. Look at ingredients: Whole grain ground corn, chicken by-product meal, corn gluten meal, wheat middlings, rice bran, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols and vitamin E), natural chicken flavor, salt. Vitamins, minerals. In case you're wondering what chicken by-product meal is, look it up: necks, heads, undeveloped eggs, feet, intestines, lungs, and some feathers. Often, these parts come from chickens that are not fit for human consumption, meaning they are diseased or decayed.
