Harry Potter The Elder Wand with illuminating tip

These seemed pricey, but they are very nice. They come in a very nice box with velvet interior. The wands are very impressive looking and are well made. I hope they will last for our 7 and 10 year old Grandsons. We have explained that they are "special" wands and not to use these outside! We told them to stick with the plastic ones for the usual rough housing!! Nice for a gift, but not for a youngster planning to use it for everyday spells.

My 8 year old grandson loved this wand and the book too. I gave him both items for a gift. It looks realistic, details were great and it worked perfectly when put together. I was concerned because of other reviewers having trouble. Not sure of battery life since we don’t live together but he was extremely happy with this gift. Value for money spent was good since it was a gift he really wanted.

Very good for a Halloween costume. My 4 yr old loves it. Light isn't too bright but still lights up the hallway. Needs an on/off switch for when not in use

As soon as this came in the mail I couldn’t wait to get it open. Having a HP wand that actually lights up is my happy place. I love this item so much bc I can actually use it in my day to day activities! It’s the perfect night light when waking up in the middle of the night and needing to take a trip to the bathroom…or kitchen. I simply wave my wand and the whole room is lit for me to find my way. I’ve also used it to dig around under my sinks looking for product. Fits nicely in my robe pocket too. The light is adjustable so you can make it as bright or soft as you need. Worth it!

Fun wand that turns on and off with a flick of the wrist or a tap. My daughter was Hermione for Halloween. I was Prof Mcgonagall. My husband was Prof Dumbledore. Originally I bought this wand for myself since this one was cheaper than the Prof. Mcgonagall wand. The button is not for turning the light on and off, it's for adjusting the brightness. Though I never did see much of a difference as my daughter was trying to adjust it. But that didn't matter to me at all... it was perfect, good looking, and fun as she shouted latin "spells" and flicked her wand.

Made for a great gift - the only trick was learning how to wave it to work properly. And using the special key for the battery...... A bit thicker than expected.
