Great item
I recently had the opportunity to use the Tombow Pencil BC-AP54 Pressurized Oil-Based Ballpoint Pen in the vibrant Orange color, and I must say it's been a pleasant writing experience. First of all, the pressurized design of this pen sets it apart from others. It allows for consistent ink flow, even if you're writing at different angles or on challenging surfaces. This feature has proven to be extremely convenient and reliable, making it a go-to pen for a variety of writing tasks. The 0.7mm tip size strikes a perfect balance between precision and smoothness. I found the pen glided effortlessly on paper, creating clean and consistent lines without any skipping or smudging. Whether writing notes, journaling, or even doodling, this pen delivers on its promises. The orange color of the pen adds an extra touch to any writing experience. It's bright and eye-catching, making it easy to spot in a pen case or on a cluttered desk. Plus, the pen itself has a sleek and comfortable design, with a non-slip grip that ensures a comfortable writing experience even during extended use. Additionally, the oil-based ink used in this pen is bold and vibrant, making a statement on any page. The ink dries quickly, preventing any potential smearing or smudging, which is always a plus. Overall, the Tombow Pencil BC-AP54 Pressurized Oil-Based Ballpoint Pen, Air Press, 0.7 in Orange is a reliable and enjoyable writing tool. Its unique pressurized design, smooth ink flow, comfortable grip, and bold color make it a standout pen for both functionality and aesthetics. Whether for professional use, studying, or everyday writing tasks, this pen delivers a high-quality writing experience that will surely satisfy any pen enthusiast. I hope you find this review helpful! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.

Great little pen
I needed a pen to use when I wear polo shirts with no pockets. If I am wearing a shrit with a pocket, I usually carry a fountain pen, but those pens can get separated from the cap when not in a pocket. This pen did the jog nicely as it is small, lightweight, and handy to use. It write beautifully every single time. That being said, there is not much ink in the cartridge and I am not sure how to change the cartridge once it does run out. Aside from that, it is working beautifully and the bright orange color means I am not likely to leave it behind.

Awesome little pen.
It's an awesome little ballpoint pen. I got it because I wanted a pen that has this type of pen clip. The pen clip is very special. It opens up wider than any other pen clip, but it doesn't bend; it just twists, so it will always snap back into place without getting stuck or bent out of place.

Good field pen
This is defiantly a field style pen. Neither necessarily tactical nor for office use. But with nice and simple outdoor details. It writes well for a ballpoint pen. It is an on-the-go pen that you could take with you every where. Flexible wire clip on this pen which opens almost 30 degrees, gives you a-lot of options in terms of where to clip the pen. When I opened the interior of the pen I noticed that the ink container is almost the half size of an ordinary ballpoint pen. But you could replace them when finishes. With the exception of clip and spring it is made aut of plastic and it is a light weight pen. I bought the orange one to be more visible in my bag. İt has a rubberize material that increases control when you hold it. It writes at every angle as mentioned. And yes, on wet paper too, depending how wet your paper is! To summarize: it is a good pen and feels more reliable for those times that you pull the pen out and you fear it is dry or won't write.

Stocking stuffer
Bought as gifts. They were liked. Wish I'd kept one for myself.

Not the best of the bunch
Comparing to the Uni-Jetstream, it also has a simple, lighter ink distribution. The problem is that the pen strokes are similar to that of a regular BIC pen, which for me it tells me it no different than those pens except for the price; $8 can get you one Tombow BC-AP20 or 24 BIC pens. In all honesty, I could not enjoy using this pen, not just because of the lack of a good ink dispersion, but because of it awkward and weird design. The shortness of the barrel doesn't turn me away from using this, rather it's the weird design of it that it turns me off on such a short pen. The clip feels like a standard, regular clip that doesn't open as easy nor does it stand out. In all honesty, I can see how others can say that the clip is easy and simple (despite my dislike on this aspect, I wouldn't affect the rating on this) but ,again, I can't say this stands out. The opposing side of the barrel also has a triangular hook that you could wrap a sort of line (such as a backpack) which I thought was cool, but it affects the handling on the pen due to its short size. I would recommend this pen for its compact size, but for what it is, I think there are other better options for outdoor use or everyday office writing errands.

Perfect pen for outdoor workers
This pain is a bit pricey, and it took quite a while for it to arrive, but man it is so worth it I'm giving it 5 stars! See, I work outside in the Seattle area, and I have to write reports out in the rain-rain-rain. This pen is the only pen that I found will write on a totally wet surface. Also, it writes irrespective of its position, so no need to shake or flip around the pen to get it to write. I actually have three versions of it: the white barrel, which I purchased at an office supply store (which is how I originally found out about it), and this orange barrel, and finally a clear barrel. I have a tendency to leave pens in pockets, so having several comes in handy. The barrels are a little bit thicker than your average pen, which gives them more substance while still making them comfortable to grip. ( I'm a woman with long fairly slender fingers.) Also, the orange and white barrels are made of a very slightly gummy rubber (or whatever it's made of), so they've got a no-slip grip. The clip is very well constructed, sturdy and can flip up if needed. All in all, a great pen!

Good looking pen with a great clip
This pen has the most functional clip of any I own. The spring loaded clip holds tight and works great to clip on thick materials like jeans pockets and backpack straps. It travels with me at all times and I will pick up a second to leave in the car. I have the clear version which shows the 'airpress' mechanism at work and looks really interesting without being too industrial. I have large hands and the pen just fits me. There is a raised V-shaped notch that is designed to hold charms and dangles on the pen. When I write, it sits on the webbing of my thumb and helps keep the pen gripped in place rather than being uncomfortable. If a charm were attached, it would rest by the palm of your hand rather than dangling around. I think it is a well thought out detail and good design. Writing is reliable and fairly smooth. Much less skipping than a space pen and the roller gets less ink buildup. It is a very thick pen which works for me but may be a consideration if you have small hands.

A pen for all seasons…….
I’ve bought a number of these fantastic pens in the past, so that I have always got one to hand. Writes in the rain, writes upside down, writes on most surfaces. What’s not to like!

air presss

really good pen
the pen is very good quality , the ergonomic rubberised grip is great , size is good as it fits in you're pocket easily , and the value is good , as I find I can just cut another cartridge to size to fit in [ try that with a Uni Power Tank ] . The ink flow can sometimes " halt " but it's not common , but it can write upside down , on wet paper , - basically , anywhere . . Overview - A really great pen suitable for a Geography Field Trip or other stuff like that .
