Perhaps my stock wheels have been worn by previous owners over it's 23 year life, but the flanged portion was a little smaller than I hoped. Needed to use steel washers from Home Depot.

Worked on my Yamaha Blaster200. They have a surated edge on the flat side that bites into material to act like a lock nut.
