Take your time!
I was skeptical about buying this for my lower plate. I had to use 2 seabond films with denture cream to use them. What a pain to do that everyday. I got this in a fast time period and was scared to use it. After a few days go by I decided to try it. I had read most of the reviews and came to the conclusion that this takes longer than what the box says to harden. So I mixed just half of one kit. I stirred and stirred until I got a kind of jello consistency. At that point I filled my lower plate and put it on my gums. I waited an extra 5 mins or so before I took it out. While it doesn’t taste great it worked awesome! I let it set up overnight in water. The next day I trimmed what wasn’t needed. I used denture cream with scope to glue them in. I didn’t have that bad taste with that. They fit perfectly! They don’t move all day until I take them out. I have been using the same mix now for wks. I believe it will last many more before I will need to mix anymore. This product lasts a long time. I haven’t yet tried to remove this product yet, but I think I’ll be able get it off if I really need to. I’m very happy I got this product! I still have enough product to reline my dentures 3 more times. Yes it doesn’t taste great at first but now I can’t taste it at all anymore. All I can say is take your time and give it time to set up fair firm before putting it on your gums. And don’t push down hard, let it form to your gums and let it set up good in your mouth. It worked great for me and will buy again if I need to.

Home Denture Reliner
Before I express my positive thoughts , I want to acknowledge the taste of the product— yes, there is a bad taste at first. It does fade with time and it really doesn’t take more than a few days to go away. Soaking it in baking soda seems to help followed by my regular denture tables. Now, on to the good— first off, the product actually works. I’ve tried many other solutions for at home denture reliners. Including the $100 option from TikTok and also the drugstore option when I was in a pickle. This product actually lasts! I do not need to change more than every 3 months, you can tell it is time to change out when they become a little loose. I would also like to say— when the directions say to stir it then let it sit and check consistency every 10 seconds, then you should do just that. I find for myself it is best to let it get slightly paste the consistency of honey to make sure it stays on my denture. I always go against the manual instructions of doing one plate at a time, I feel that I get a much better end result and fit by doing both at the same time. I have consistently done it this way the last few times I’ve purchased the product. I use part of the second mixture to add to my top becuase it requires more product than my lower. When you put it in your mouth and bite down for 3 minutes don’t bite down so hard that it’s miserable, just slight pressure. Yes, some of the product will come out of the denture. Just don’t swallow it. When the 3 minutes are up, I take them out and follow the test of the process. I also remove any pieces that got on my teeth before going through the second round of water rinse. I would also like to mention that I am using this product for my immediate denture. Without it, they were useless. I get a much better reline at home by doing it myself than at the dentist. I found this to really help me. On one side of mouth, the immediate had a large gap from no edge due to swelling at my extraction. About half way in the first set, I use my finger to slightly mold that area to create that wall and then let it set for the remainder of the 3 mins then it really gets cured in the second round when you finalize your bite. Don’t skip the 20 minute air dry. I have done that every time and I think it needs that time to cure. At the start, I clean them really good and remove any old reline and then I clean them with alcohol. Then dry them so throughly. Also, one time I got them out of the mail and it was very cold out. I tried to do it right away from bringing it in, big mistake. It didn’t work properly. It needs to be at room temperature prior to attempting this. I would just like to recognize the maker of this product becuase while it may not be the newest or the fanciest option, it is very affordable and it actually lasts and it works. Get 2 kits the first time. It takes trial and error. And make sure it thickens up before putting it in the denture.

Horrible
This product burned my skin in one corner of my mouth. It has the strongest nasty smell and the taste matches it! The taste lessened but did not go away. I did not get a secure fit at all. This burned my mouth while waiting for it to set. Complete waste of money. Densure fit is much pricier but well worth it!

Best I've used yet!
Very easy to use. I've used the stuff from Walmart before and it's very similar, but better. It is the best fitting reline that I've used to date! It's not hard and doesn't hurt my gums. Perfect fit the first time I used it! Only thing reason I didn't leave 5 stars, is the taste. It is pretty horrible and I almost threw up. I did it before a 10 hour shift and I really had to suffer through it. Big metallic, medicinal taste. Reminds me of the way my covid medicine made my mouth taste of metal. Totally worth it though! Great product!

Not bad for the price
If your needing your dentures refit to your gums this works really well. Just don't expect it to stay soft. This is not a cushioned liner.

just DO it!
I had read every review and totally psyched myself out…. Waited another week…. Finally after my face broke out from nerves i finally set a date and started the process. WHY? Fear i guess. JUST DO IT! I mixed it and stirred and stirred and stirred…. After much longer than i expected it started to thicken. Think smooth peanut butter. Even after i put goop into my lower i let it sit and thicken some more. I surely didn’t want it going all over my mouth. My lower is old and thin and didnt take much goop so i didn’t bite hard cuz i needed some buildup. Did the 3 minutes, rinse in cold water and back in just like it says to. In the meantime the extra goop started setting up. Almost like silly putty. I didnt want to waste it so I rolled it into a log and laid it into another lower i had been trying to break in. They hurt and i had been using a dremel to get it to fit so i figured what did i have to lose? I pushed the roll into the groove and put them into my mouth and did bite down more til it almost felt like a pillow surrounding my sore gums. So following the directions til the second bite and then into cold water. OMG that stuff is nasty. So i let them sit the 20 minutes to cure and then dumped half a box of soda on top of them. Add a little water to make paste and keep putting it onto both lowers. I let it sit in soda for over 24 hrs. Then i added toothpaste right on top of the soda. After another half a day i can almost stand the taste. The lower i put the roll into definitely looks weird but ask me if i care. I got two lowers much more comfortable with one little tub of the powder. I can hardly wait to see how long the reline lasts. I expect i will need to add another layer to the first lower that i did the conventional way. For now i can only tell you to jump in and do it. It’s amazing how well it works. As others have said, I‘m sure it will be much easier the next time i get to play! As for easy to remove…? I have no idea. Taste? Ugly. But its sure nice to have my lowers relined and feel less pain. Try this stuff if you have old dentures and not much bone left. It really helped. I might have to do it more often but its like a miracle to me right now. So worth it!

What a find!!
My dentures were a nightmare from the get-go! They never fit right, the top teeth are so tiny they look like baby teeth, the bite was wrong, they were uncomfortable -- and not one of my complaints was ever addressed by the dentist who made them. The bite was so off and eating was such a chore that I often wound up eating grits and scrambled eggs for dinner night after night just so I wouldn't have to put in the dentures. Every time I did put the dentures in, I had to use so much fixative that it was literally sickening! No matter how many times I complained to my dentist, my words fell on deaf ears. He'd look at them and say uh-huh and hmmmm and then stick them right back in my mouth and send me packing. The dentures have, of course, loosened up over the ensuing two years, and I knew a reline was going to have to be done, but I wasn't EVER going back to the dentist who made my dentures in the first place, and I really didn't have the money to go anywhere at all. I decided to give Perma Soft Denture Reliner Kit a try because after all -- what did I have to lose? It was SO easy to do (my daughter helped me, so we were able to do the uppers and lowers at the same time), and for the first time EVER, I was able to get a bite very close to my real bite. At first when reading the reviews here, I was put off by all the complaints about the taste because I have a highly acute palate, but all the horror stories just don't jibe with my experience. The taste was strong but not horrible when first applying the material and putting the dentures in to get the right fit. After that, the taste was slightly noticeable the first couple of times I put the dentures in (I take them out every night and often take them out during the day when I'm in not out in public), but the taste faded quickly, and the dentures actually fit better than they ever have, and I don't have to use fixative unless I'm eating something especially chewy or crunchy. I can't even say what a pleasure it is to be able to slip them in and head out the door -- for the first time in two years, I don't have to stand there and put in the fixative, set in the dentures, clean off the ooze around the edges -- YUCK! I HATE every fixative on the market!! Perma Soft Denture Reliner Kit has certainly rewarded me 10 times over the price I paid for it, and I'll NEVER have a dentist reline the dentures for an absurd amount of money -- I can do it myself, thank you very much!!
