Giga Pets AR Puppy Dog Virtual Pet, White

We can get through the main set up and then it freezes like the video shows. No picture and the weird clicking noise. I can’t reset it via the reset button on the back.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas. She loves being able to take care of her puppy. She was able to name it and feed it, clean up after it, and play with it. When you first setup the toy, you are asked to set the time. It is very important that the time is accurate. If you set it for 1am when it is 1pm, your pet will sleep all the time. I experienced this with my sons dinosaur gigapet. The toy comes with instructions. Make sure you read those, if I had have read them I would have known that about the time.

I ordered the unicorn for myself and the dog for my son. I was so excited to see they had come out with these again as they were my favorite back growing up. Out of the box the dog worked, the unicorn did not. I returned and got another. The 2nd unicorn did work... for about 2 weeks. The dog my son had also worked for about 2 weeks. Then it randomly reset itself, and when we tried to start them up again it just continued to reset themselves, in a loop. So we just popped the batteries out and tossed them. I'll not order another.

It was fun for a while. It broke after 2 weeks which was really sad actually.

I love that they brought back Giga Pets! This puppy is cute but I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s lacking a bit compared to the Unicorn which I also purchased. I love that the unicorn is clear like the originals, the puppy is not, and that it has a background with grass, which again the puppy does not. Other than that this is a great virtual pet.

I saw a post on Instagram and was so excited that Giga Pets are back. I don’t know if they ever left but this was a favorite childhood toy of mine. It’s better than I remember and I’m loving the nostalgia I get from it. I definitely recommend getting a Giga Pet if you remember these growing up or to pass on the joy to children today. Planning to buy one for my niece’s birthday

I'm so happy that I purchased the new Giga Pets. They take me back to when I was younger. The screen is very easy to see and I have had no battery or reset problems like other consumers. It's so much fun to take care of your virtual pet. I'm now in the process of teaching my young boy to play with and nurture his virtual pet. Maybe someday he can have the real thing.

It go’s here I’m time, good price and It was really cool while it lasted the first 24 hours then it turned off and never turned back on... really disappointed

I bought this for nostalgia reasons so I haven't tried the AR. I was very surprised to see it has actually been upgraded visually. It moves around a lot more and they added new games and tricks. Otherwise it's the same old giga pet! Which makes me happy!

Product did not work at all. . Seller required product to be returned in original packaging. Who keeps the plastic wrap thing that you have to cut open ?

Same as when we were kids but honestly we got for my 5 year old for x mas I wish we would have got it throughout the year like he had asked here is why ... when he got it at Christmas I feel it was overtaken by Christmas and silly gifts I think had I got it on a random day that he was deserving something extra special i think he would have appreciated it more and played with it more it’s a toy you want them to have time to sit and read how it works and test it for a while don’t open it if you don’t have some time committed unless it could be a waste I’m going to try again with it and see if he likes it

This item was delivered broken. It’s super glitchy and keeps turning off, even though we changed the batteries. Our eight year old saved up and paid for this herself and waited so excitedly for it to arrive. She’s so disappointed now.

My six year old son loves this toy. More interactive than similar toys on the market. It allows you to feed, bathe, teach tricks, discipline and play two interactive games with the puppy!
