Go ahead and order it!
If your ice maker came with a square fragile plastic scoop, stop reading and hit that "buy now" button. After dealing with an "too big for most cups but somehow too small for filling a cooler" scoop that came with our ice maker for almost a year, the handle snapped off the cheapo, so I decided to go with this one, and what a difference it makes! Easily break/separate cubes, scoops nicely into reasonably sized tumblers and while it'd take a hot minute to fill up a 110 quart cooler, if you find yourself doing that regularly, they have larger sizes too! All kidding aside, this is a really well made little scoop. All edges are nice and smooth, and it feels well made enough that it'll in all likelihood outlast my ice maker.

Solid product but smaller then expected
I don’t know if I didn’t understand the measurements of this scoop, but the handle is pretty small and so is the scoop but it’s well made—strong and doesn’t bend. I think I will be using it for another purpose rather than what it was purchased for because of size. Definitely needs longer and wider handle.

Perfect Ice Scooper
It is what it is, a fantastic small scooper that it is used for ice, I gave this as a gift for my sister as she has one of those ice maker bins in the box with out a dispenser, so she always has to get it with her hands no big deal in olden days but in today's worries about germs and all it makes sense to have this in the bin ready for use and keep the dirty little hands off my ice...lol..

Warning do not put in dishwasher!
This is the second one I buy because the first one I got my son put it in the dishwasher and it ruined it. It oxidized and turned black … it felt like chalk…. Anyways it is sturdy when scooping ice , as well as the handle. It’s easy to use the size is perfect for ice scooping. Again just don’t make the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher 😮💨

Poor casting quality using contaminated metal
Opened package and it was almost chrome-like in appearance. Could feel a waxy or oily residue on the surface. Washed the scoops in our dishwasher since the ad said they're dishwasher safe. Both scoops from this company turned black with heavy oxidation (rust). It was a thick dark powder all over the scoops uniformly. Tried to clean and polish using a food safe paste wax, it helped but you can see all the contaminates in the aluminum. They start to rust and show up as brown or black spots in the metal. Pure food safe aluminum should not do this at all. It might dull a little, which is normal for aluminum that isn't anodized or plated, but not turn black. Impossible to tell what potentially toxic materials were melted into the aluminum before casting. The edges of the scoop are sharp and irregular, potentially dangerous and harmful to a user. It is not durable, I do not feel comfortable or safe using this product.

Great price for this item I couldn't find locally
You would think you could find an ice scoop at any store with kitchen tool supplies. Not true. I actually got this to help fill plastic bags with concrete to make my own paving stones. I saw how to do this on a YouTube video. This will work great to cut down on the mess and difficulty of filling the bags. I will probably buy more of this item to scoop dog food also.
