Ruined our original plug. Thought we’d have to dispose of our new vacuum. Nope! Fixed like new.

I was worried when ordering that it might not work for my cordless vac. But it was a perfect fit! Make sure you verify models. I have a dirt devil cordless hand vac too with super similar charger but it didn’t fit in my vac. Just verify models are comparable and you’ll be good to go!

The adapter recharges the handheld vac well but it should have been in the box. Rise above the fray and do what’s right. It is such an inconvenience to have to locate and purchase the cord.

This worked fine to replace the original charger for my Dirt Devil Versa. My original charger lasted just a couple months then began beeping an odd pattern of 3 lights - pause - 3 lights - pause for 5 sequences then turn off completely. I didn’t know if it was the vacuum engine or charger. Gambled on the charger. Amazon delivered it in 2 days with Prime - charging as normal again. I will say that I have never had a cord free vacuum where all original parts lasted more than a few months - despite the brand or model. It seems like the technology to last a normal lifespan isn’t quite there yet. Edited to add: the charger has continued to work more than a year later. I should have pointed out the charger does not wrap back up into the vacuum handle - it is a slightly different design that won’t fit into the handle. I just keep it in the utility room near the plug for charging.

I’ve had a dirt devil flip out for about 20 years. Recently, I went to go use it, and realized it hadn’t charged. Upon inspection of the cord, I realized it had broken at the connection point of the cord going into the plug. I decided to seeing if I could find a replacement cord instead of buying a new hand held vacuum- since this one has been so dependable for so many years. Of course Amazon came through It works perfectly!

This doesn't hold a charge. The light will blink for about 20 seconds and then stop. I will have to find a different cord now to charge my Dirt Devil.

Replacement for lost cord -- works fine.

My little over a year old swerve would no longer take a charge, figured it was broken. Got nowhere with the company as I no longer had the receipt. Was ready to throw it out when I noticed a wire showing on the charging plug. Spent another 3 months trying to get a replacement one from dirtdevil the manufacturer and would still be waiting if I didn't manage to find one on here. It is a bit pricy at over 40 bucks but without it the vacuum is useless. Even if I did manage to get one from the manufacturer it would have only been 9 bucks cheaper.

My vacuum plug broke, I was so happy to see there was a replacement. At $42 it was cheaper than buying a new vacuum. It was a perfect fit! BUT they sent me a dud…the charger doesn’t work. It was so great when I grab my vacuum after Christmas and it dead :(
