I really love these books. I am a Montessori primary (3year olds-6 year olds) teacher in training and the techniques and advice in these books are SO incredibly helpful! I can’t recommend them enough. I use these tools everyday and they improve my interactions with the children an unbelievable amount. The tools can take more energy to use, but using them results in so much more peace in the classroom and between the students and myself that sometimes I just can’t believe it. I have a long commute so technically I’ve listened to “How to talk so kids will listen and listen so kids will talk” and “How to talk so little kids will listen” already. I bought this set for “How to talk so kids can learn at Home and at school” but it is great having a hard copy too. These books really are the best! They will help you if you are struggling as a parent or teacher :)

In my opinion, these books should be required reading for parents of all ages. Actually, they should be required reading for people without children also. The books should just be called: How to Talk to People. The “How to Talk so Kids will Listen” book changed my life as a mom of a 6 year old. He’s 40 now. When he was 7, he looked at me and said “Mom, you’re like a nicer mom now.” Wow, how often does a moment like that happen??

I’m so excited to continue reading these books. I initially got “Hoe to talk so little kids will listen” from the library. But I wasn’t able to keep it long enough to fully read it and take notes and I thought it would be good to have a copy that I could mark up if I felt necessary. I find the information to be very helpful and I plan to read the other books so I figured I would just buy the set.

So far from the 2 books we've read, we've been able to diffuse a lot of fits and fights (even between the kiddos) with the skills we learned. We're not perfect, it's learning as we go but we found what works and need to work on what doesn't, and why, since we figure we're not doing some thing(s) correctly. But we're amazed at we've accomplished and how well the skills do work! Highly recommend

The books are great they have a lot of great information. Take lots of practice in a lot of rereading. They would work even better if I could get my husband to read them.

We have a parent resource library in our martial arts school and this series is quite popular with the parents. I use many of the tips when teaching my students.

Love that you can get them all together and save a ton! They are the most recent editions as well. I love the how to talk books. I borrowed them from the library and loved them so much I bought the whole series. I love how they give so many example scenarios and verbiage. Amazing tool to have. I also recommend No Drama Discipline and the Whole Brain Child as they speak to the brain science behind kids and makes so much sense.

These books have become my parenting bible! So helpful and effective, and written without any hint of judgement - just packed with useful tips which actually work. Extra bonus - the tips work on adults as well!

It works as our guide with my 7, 4 & 3 years old. It's a great reference for many aspects in understanding the kids psychology and perceptions. I highly recommend for parents and educators

This is an excellent set of books , easy to read and helped allot in many situations , I recommend it to every parent

Love these books! Boring read but saved me with tools to navigate parenting struggles in a psychologically based way without invalidating or controlling my kids. Gentle parenting must have!
