DefenderShield DefenderPad Accessory Pillow - Memory Foam Cushion for Use with DefenderPad Laptop EMF Radiation Protection & Heat Shield

First off, the Defender Shield is a GREAT product. I bought it as a gift for my partner this past holiday and it quickly turned into a daily battle of "who needed it more" between the two of us. I had another companies (Well reviewed American Made product) that I had previously used daily but had kept it in the (now ratty) packaging for 2 years because of the "plactic" smell and to add sturdiness. You honestly can't even compare the two, this is one of those cases where the extra money spent was something you could see, feel and appreciate in quality. After a few weeks of "Musical Chairs: Defender Shield Edition" I finally sat down to buy a second one for myself and this pad came up as a recommendation. I thought, "eh, the shield is so great and sturdy, do I even need that?" The answer is YES. Oh my gosh, it elevates the computer to the perfect level and is so stable and comfortable. I have a case on my 15" MacBook that is a similar texture to the shield so when the whole this is put together it is NOT moving at all. I'm talking the friction of an elephants ass level of immobility. Since buying this the defender shield lives in it, and it lives under my computer, and I live under all of it because it's the only way I want to work anymore.

I bought this with the defender pad shield. The shield is sold separately, and the shield is what blocks the EMF. The pillow itself is a great accessory. It is comfy and the corner flaps hold the EMF shield into place perfectly. The pillow also adds and extra 3-4 inches of separation from the laptop to my lap which further shields my reproductive organs from EMF. I highly recommend buying this if you have bought the shield, it is much more comfy than using the shield by itself. If you are just looking for a laptop pad by itself and don't have the EMF shield then keep looking because there are other cheaper options that are better suited.

Bulky, felt like it wasn't doing anything. I actually donated it.

My wife had purchased this assuming the EMF blocker pad was included (our fault), but it isn't. You have to buy them separately. We ultimately purchases both though and they are comfortable and work excellently. I use them every day.

Cushion is made perfectly for the defender shield I had purchased some time before. So glad to have it! Thanks! Use it together for cell phone, iPod, laptop.

Buyer beware!!! This is not a EMF protection pad! Read the fine print and you'll find this is just a cushion and you have to purchase an additional $50+ associated product for EMF protection!

I’ve always wanted protection from my laptop while sitting on the couch. When I saw this with the defender pad, I knew this was this right choice.
