Secrets of a Pivot Boss: Revealing Proven Methods for Profiting in the Market

This book is an excellent primer on using pivot points to identify possible support and resistance levels, as well as profit targets. The author does a great job of first explaining the drivers of the market, and the auction process. He then proceeds to describe how to anticipate the PROBABLE behavior of the next trading session through analysis of multi-day pivot trend, pivot width, and volume profile. The discussion includes several types of candlestick formations that when combined with key pivot levels will provide good risk to reward opportunities. The central theme of the book is that pivot points are superior to other types of indicators because they are not subjective and are based on the most important price and volume data, and inherently take volatility into account. They also have the benefit of lending themselves well to automation. It should be noted that while there are some trade setup's discussed, they are not to be traded blindly. As with all trading, the key is to look for a confluence of factors that point strongly to one likely outcome over another. I think this book does a great job of presenting the reader with information that should help to become much better at analyzing the market and finding the confluence of evidence. I was a little put off when I realized that you can buy the book from the authors website for about half the price on Amazon and thought about taking off a star for that, but I also found the author provides a lot of free/complementary videos on youtube so I am not going to complain about the extra price. Besides, the book content is excellent and I my only real regret is that I did not find this book much earlier in my trading journey.

First is to say that this book is selling far below its true value. To be honest, it should sell much higher! The author practically revealed his trading secret in this masterpiece. The information contained in the book is a lifetime reference. In as much as the book is enriched with life changing trading strategies, there is still to test them extensively and arrive at the same position with the author. Another uniqueness of the book is showing how to predict and interpret market behaviour intraday and daily for a profitable trade. However, it should be noted that due to increased volatility in the market now especially forex and crypto, the suitable pivot is camarilla and not cpr. I must admit that the book has greatly improved my trading even though i have been trading for years. The sad part is that i discovered it late. I proudly recommend the book to any serious trader.

Of all the technical books I've read this one made me feel the best equipped and prepared for trading in the market. However there is one big problem: the first trading strategy he describes is "The moneyzone" created by Nirvana Systems. Which is basically a graph version of the market profile. He uses OmniTrader and VisualTrader Platforms. He even includes the programming codes for these platforms so the platform will find the setups for you. I read half the book and the strategies sound so amazing I want to try them out. Turn out TOS, TD Ameritrades plaform doesn't include "the money zone" graph setup. I say no problem. I'll get the platforms he uses: OmniTrader or VisualTrader. BIG PROBLEM: They cost $2,000!!! (for the professional version so you can use the programmer codes) An expensive book, an even more expensive platform required. I would feel slightly scammed but the material in the book really is phenomenal and I believe it really has upped my day trading game. The thing that surprises me most is no other Amazon reviewers mentioned this??? Did they all drop 2 grand on a trading platform????

I was skeptical of pivots and particularly of this book because it seemed more expensive than other books. However, it was recommended by a trader i respect and bought it. I read it in four days and applied what i learned today (2021-08-27) for a breakout trade on AMD using Camarilla Pivots... the knowledge on this book just works... it is not magic, but really good and worth knowledge.

This book provides clear insights, setups, entry signals, and exits, that can be applied to any trading instrument, while relying only on floor pivots and price action. Since candlesticks and floor pivots are available for free on any free third party or brokerage charts, there are no fees and no indicator overload/confusion. The "downside" is it is long and dense, the material is likely new to you, and you have to read it 3 times to get it.

There two unique elements that make this book exceptional. The first is the level of innovation: New innovative indicators that are price based and are very powerful in predicting price behavior on all time frames. They provide the trader with a fresh outlook of the market.The second is the presentation. Mr Ochoa has a gift of a true teacher who describes concepts that seem complicated in an easy to understand, highly readable way. I read the book in one day. I regard this book as a true gift for all traders,mostly the lost and the perplexed.I read the book in the kindle edition and the layout including the charts are superb.

This is absolutely the most powerful trading book I’ve ever read. It is not only an education on pivots and market profile but it provides you with the systems to immediately put the knowledge into action. Mr. Ochoa is extremely generous in sharing all of the formulas and setups as well as the research that went into it, there is even a separate “custom code library”. This book gives you everything you need to be a successful trader. There are no free lunches in trading but if you are willing to put the work in that is necessary to become a successful trader, this book will do the rest.

Iam writing this review after reading and implementation of each details mentioned in the book. This book makes you discipline trader, you will enter into the market at certain levels not every now and then. You will know the the probable direction of the market and plan your trade accordingly. Those three pivot strategy are great and if you combine them altogether it will make deadly weapon. Most important you will know the psychology of the market that how market moves. All you need a little patience to wait for those levels to come and that's why it make you disciplined. This is worth investment if you want to grow as a more skilled trader, you should definitely read this book. Cheers Haappyy Trading 👍👍

A MUST HAVE. Pricy, but it is indeed a great investment.

I would recommend this book to all the traders from novice to experts to get taste of pivot points and Carmella (i have difficulty in spelling this tough ) equation. You will be certainly amazed that how price reacts to these levels it was mind blowing experience to go through purposed concepts and methodologies Frank has done wonderful job imparting his valuable knowledge by using very simple vocabulary. Don't forget to read it before you go for investing or trading . Thank you Frank Sir ! for this wonderful book.

The quality of paper and printing is not upto the mark.

Great book for day trading . Every traders must read before start trading . You can save so much money and years if you understand and applied to the trading .
