Perfect for supplementing school curriculum
As with many this year, our first grader is learning remotely. This book provides the additional practice a student needs to internalize the material. We have found a good pace is two to four pages per day. Since the sections reinforce each other, it is best to choose one page per section, rather than two to four pages out of one section. For instance, the beginning user will simultaneously utilize Section 1 Addition Facts, Section 2 Subtraction Facts, Section 13 Find the Missing Addends, and Section 16 Find the Missing Subtrahends. The entire book can be finished in one school year. And don't forget the flashcards.

Great practice!
I like this book. It is exactly what I was looking for. My son needed more practice with addition & subtraction. This was a perfect addition to his regular homeschool curriculum. It has about 20 pages each for 1-digit, 2-digit and then 3-digit addition as well as for subtraction (first without regrouping and then with regrouping). At the end there is a section to practice finding the missing addends and subtrahends.

Classic math, no gimmicks
Pure addition and subtraction math practice. From 1 digits to 3 digits. Children will get a very good feel of numbers without getting distracted by math problems represented by fruits, candies, animals and other unrelated objects. Once they master this, they will easily beat the whole class of their peers on their grade and apply this math to numbers substitutes in their classes with ease and laughing. Highly recommend!

Worth It
Exactly what I wanted and needed. Large print on the pages, several problems on each, and the book is set up in the proper order you would learn these skills. I'm so glad I ordered and it came in 2 days so I didn't have long to wait.

A good book to practice math
I bought for my 5 year old and 7 year old kids. They both are enjoying this book. The book has a variety of addition and subtraction problems like 1 digit, 2 digits and 3 digits addition & subtraction, and missing addends & subtrahends. They could have included some word problems so that we can use it as a complete book of addition & subtraction. Other than that, it’s a good book for practicing math problems.

A definite yes!
Great for when you're on the go and want your kid to practice math skills. I always have this in my car and when we're stuck in traffic - a practice on the go I would say.
