Keeping everything dry and food being eaten.
I'm using this for Ramix birth control sausages and it is doing fine, they are being eaten and keeping the food dry. I saw a squirrel actually get in and I imagine chipmunks and mice might too. That is fine with me. Hopefully the rats are dining well too.

Maintains a supply of rat poison in a safe place.
Works well. No more rats in my garage. Don't have to worry about pets getting into it.

Adapted for voles.
I bought this to address a couple of vole colonies. This bait box is designed to use mini bait bars that fit over the spikes, but I used granular bait that was more specific for voles; I spread it over the floor of the box around the spikes. This eventually worked, though it took some weeks, as the voles had plenty of other food available. I still leave this box out and baited to prevent voles from re-establishing themselves around our house. While I have no particular love for chipmunks, I did not want them getting into the box, so I glued a couple of plywood inserts on the inside of the box to create smaller entrance holes that would discourage the chipmunks while still making it easy for the voles to get in. (Hint: a design improvement would be to include some optional plastic inserts that would serve this function. If you don't have a problem with rats, a box with a rat-sized hole still invites all kinds of creatures to sample the poison.) It's advisable to put a brick on top of the box, as it's lightweight, and can tip over easily.

The best bait boxes!!
10/10!!! I had the smaller, one entry bait traps outside for a known rat issue. You could tell they were nibbling on the poison, but I had those out there 2 weeks and didn’t really see much activity in them. I put 2 of these traps out and the first night, all of the poison was eaten (I put 3 bars in each one). Those little buggers only left crumbs. I guess the two entry/exit holes really does make them feel comfortable. Only downside is that they don’t anchor in the ground, so the traps are all over the yard the next day, but who cares - they ate it!

Work as Intended
Context: Bought these as an exterminator friend recommended them. Pros: - Work as intended. - Special keys needed to open. - Can hold 4 pieces of bait, which is plenty. Cons: - Light weight and will blow away unless you secure it to wherever you put it. Overall: 5/5; Gets the job done.

Very lightweight and could be carried off easily by animals.
These bait traps are very lightweight. I found them in different places around the yard suspecting it may have been a raccoon that carried them off. I managed to weight them down but it is nuisance to try to replace the bait. In addition the rods holding the bait did not hold up.

Effective and Affordable Mousetraps – Great Value!
We purchased a set of three mousetraps after our exterminator recommended adding a few to our setup. Their professional-grade traps were a bit pricey, so we searched on Amazon and found these at a great price. We placed them in key areas as advised, and since then, we haven’t had any rodent issues at all. We live in an area with lots of squirrels and other small animals, but the design of these traps is smart—the bait compartment is only accessible through small openings that are just the right size for rats, making it safer around other wildlife. Overall, this was a great purchase. If you're dealing with rodents and want an effective, budget-friendly solution, these traps are a solid option.
