Excellent size and value
Great miniature. The wings can be heated and braced to get them a bit further apart - that sorta worked. Easy to paint and fun. I didn't care for how it looked on the stand so made a base and had it landing on its front feet.

Fantastic
A great miniature. Much larger than expected with very good detail. Hours worth of painting on this beauty!

Classic D&D dragon look and feel
I’ve been modeling since the 80’s and these models stack up well with some of the best out there. With a little work (some mold line and gaps) these models really look good. Less unforgiving and much lighter than pewter these resin models are worth the money. In my experience they still need primer before painting even though it says primed and ready. Acrylic paint tends to slide off and pool without some type of primer.

Recommended!
Very nice figure; detailing is nice and size is great compared to miniatures from the Nolzur’s line. Size is also very good in comparison to D&D Gale Force 9 models and old D&D Chainmail figures. Very happy they decided to make some dragons of different colors finally! My ONLY complaint is my figure had a broken wing tip/hook that was broken off prior to being sealed (at the factory). Thankfully it was nothing a little Green Stuff putty couldn’t fix in 5 minutes. Otherwise, there was very little excess in terms of the mold lines and primer. Highly recommend!

Loved it
Ordered him for a very special birthday session for my girlfriend. He arrived in a timely manner and in perfect condition! A common problem with this model are the wings being too close together and I was pleased his weren't. My girlfriend had a very memorable birthday, it was great!

First dragon made for memorable sessions
I bought my first black dragon as a way to test out my painting skills and to see how well I could try to experience the true mini game. I had worked with minis before but with larger monsters I normally used props which were fine but I wanted to immerse my players and show them a fun and interesting experience. I truly enjoyed the painting experience and am glad I did try it even though it wasn’t the best and I continue to use this mini as it has grown to one of my favorites.
