I had to buy this kit after I ran into a snag with an aftermarket radiator for my truck. One of the inlets for the radiator was ever so slightly smaller than the original (by about 0.5mm) so the o-ring inside the quick connect wouldn't seal properly. A new oem o-ring wouldn't make up for 0.5mm so in desperation I bought this kit. To my surprise, the custom oring has been working great. Truck gets up to operating temps, no leaks at all. I'm writing this review about 3 months after I fixed my truck so I'd say this is a good purchase. Comes with a small amount of binder and a good amount of rubber. Would recommend!

I bought this kit as a last resort. I needed some odd ball size o-rings for the ac compressor manifold on my 1986 Toyota Van that even Toyota dealers didn't list a part number for. I was skeptical, especially considering how this is priced compared to the loctite kit. Well let me tell ya this kit saved my butt. The provided cord was in great shape, the only slight issue was some surface rust on the razor blade. I let them cure for 24 hours and installed them today and know have ice cold AC again. This is a great tool to have especially dealing with odd ball items

Good kit for the money. Would recommend to anyone needing to make up O-rings quick and easy. I wished they offered it in Buna-N.

This is a good kit for making custom o rings. The little tool they give you for alignment could be better but I can just 3d print one how I want it.

Was able to create a hard to find o-ring for pool heater. ID * 3.14 will give you the length to cut the cord to make your o- ring

a lot better than having to go to the auto parts every time i need a o ring.

When you need o-rings that are not standard or you just like to make your own, this is a great option!

This kit repaired the Oring head gaskets in my 2 stage air compressor. The replacements were discontinued so I tried this and it worked. Pumps and holds 175 psi. I was both amazed and surprised. Since then I've heard tell of others using them in hydraulic repairs. I purchased both the metric and sae kits. I'll likely never need another. Plenty of material for many more orings.
