good alternative charger for your Garmin watch works well and a lot cheaper than the Garman cable

I was sceptical about purchasing this after reading some reviewz; however I am glad I did. My Fitibit Ionic would not charge or turn on, in fact it would short out the USB charger and believe it or not the actual power extension. I honestly thought my watch was done for and was ready to contact Fitbit for an exchange as it is only 11 months old. I decided to try a new charging system as the cable I have is the original and like the watch, 11 months of usage can cause cables to malfunction. After plugging this in to the same fast charge USB charger I used before, placing the watch in to place it quickly came to life. I ca still charge the watch with the original cable but for safety reasons I stick with the charging stand. Thanks to this device it had saved me an embarrassing conversation with Fitbit or a new watch. I would say if you are unsure of something due to a couple of negative reviews then try it, if it works for you then it's a bonus, if not then return it and regret not trying.

Liked the idea of the neat look of the charger being perm on my desk. Only downside is that it requires some force to put on and take off the watch and I therefore had to put double sticky tape to the the back of the charger to stay in place.

Due to where the charging port is on the Vivoactive 3 music, the way the charger cable that comes with it plugs in is awkward and clunky. It is now my emergency in-the-car charging cable, because this new one is EXACTLY what I needed! The watch connects to it easily, and sits perfectly on top of it, flush. I just tested the charge time and it is just as fast as the original, which, is quite fast. I have only used it once so far, but unless it breaks in a couple of months, it is well worth the low price. Bonus, the little dust covers are a nice little extra - I do not see me using them on the regular, but I will for sure any time I am doing a mud run or a dusty trail run. Thank you for those!

Great little charger, plugs in nicely and supports my watch on dresser whilst charging. Used numerous times now and no issues with coming loose during charge. The dust covers/plugs are good added bonus and are much less fiddly to fit than expected.

This product if built better would be amazing, it completely fixes the charging issue I have with Garmin watches where the cable falls out easily. That being said this product is simply made very poorly with cheap usb cables soldered onto cheap pins with barely any separation and no sleeving to prevent the pins or soldered cable shorting. I would not trust this product to charge a watch that can easily cost well over £1000 when the pins could bridge/short so easily and just to top it off I've used this product twice and it's stopped working. I wish this product was built better because it really would've been great but it's terrible don't waste your money like I did.

Well after returning a cable charger I went for this model and it is way better than the Garmin short cable and connects to my Garmin 245 with a nice solid "click". It works exactly as it should and another plus are the silicon charge port covers that come included. Why Garmin didn't provide 1 with the watch I'll never know as the port looks like it will very easily get clogged with dirt and sweat over time, so having it covered makes all the difference. Great product.

The charger is a good design, better than the one that comes with Garmin Fenix 6. It holds the watch securely while charging and it's easy to see the screen to see what percentage charge the watch has. Mine worked for 6 months (I've used it a lot), but has now broken and won't charge. Sad that it's disposable, it should last longer, but I'm ordering again because it does seem to be the best design for reliable charging.

Acquistato per ricaricare il mio Garmin Vivoactive 3. Molto spesso il cavo di ricarica ricevuto in dotazione con l'orologio non si agganciava bene. Lo stesso cavo che tendeva ad attorcigliarsi dava sempre problemi per trovare la posizione giusta affinché non si staccasse. Questa base invece è perfetta. L'orologio si aggancia bene, rimane in posizione e non c'è pericolo di accidentali sganciamento. Inoltre nella confezione ho trovato una serie di tappino colorati per proteggere lo spinotto di ricarica del telefono quando lo si tiene al polso. Ottimo prodotto. Lo consiglio vivamente.

I bought this charger as the original cable that comes with my Garmin Fenix 6 is way too short, often disconnects when the watch is moved and the watch is facedown when its charging so you can't see what time it is. What was/is Garmin thinking? Right? This charger solves all these problems. Longer cable, solid connection and you can see what time it is when it's charging. Have used it every day since I got it. Solid design and easy to use. Highly recommended!
