If you don't want a soft skin or to get rid of skin texture don't use this because this will do just that. I always struggle with dryness but this Iunik beta-glucan had made my skin so soft. In just a couple of days, this hydrating serum took effect in little time. I love how easy it is to use and such have perfect quality for how inexpensive this serum is.

This serum has changed the game for my skin! wow my bf yesterday told me "i dont know what changed but your skin looks really good"! if that isnt a confirmed amazing purchase, this serum has hydrated my skin helps with my dry skin and irritation and uneven skin tone! these ingredients are so good for easily clogged pores as well as blemishes. ughh i can go one about how amazing this product is all day. I incorporated this into my routine earlier in the winter and it changed everything. I’m usually fighting all winter long to keep the dry patches and peeling skin away. Not this year! I’ve been using this for about 3-4 months, morning and evening and it has helped my dry, mature, sensitive skin heal and stay healthy!

Great product, very very gentle on sensitive skin. I have very sensitive skin that tends to be extremely dry in the winter and also from using prescription retinoids. I was concerned that this would be sticky bc snail mucin makes me break out. It gives you a literal glow but it should probably not be used with other serums. I tried to add it twice daily in addition to my routine (face wash, toner, eye cream, ceramide barrier serum, beta toucan, regular moisturizer) and it made me get a few huge painful white heads but I am mostly sure that was on me for using them all together. I would probably keep using this either on days I use rx retinoid 3x a week or only at night or in the AM but not both. If hot or humid, I dont even know if I would use another moisturizer on top of it even though I know I should bc it is so moisture locking I think it would cause breakouts even on dry or sensitive skin

This is a great hydrating serum to add to your skin care routine. It is quite thick and a little goes a long way. It doesn’t leave a residue and it plays well with other skin care products as well as makeup/sunscreen. As someone else mentioned it’s not as “life changing” as some of the claims, however it can also be used to add moisture to other products. I have a favorite sunscreen (Australian Gold light) which happens to be matte when it drys. At 57 with some fine lines all it did was highlight those no matter what primer or moisturizer I used underneath. The color (it doubles as a BB cream) is perfect for me because it has slightly pink undertones. I wanted to move away from my foundation routine and have a more “natural” look. Finding a hydrating replacement was impossible. Knowing beta glucan is added to many skin care products to enhance hydration, I decided to experiment with mixing a ratio of 40-50% beta glucan to my sunscreen to make it more “dewy”. I mixed a small amount in a little “tester jar” I had. After thoroughly mixing, it set overnight to ensure the ingredients meshed together. (I first tried this in my hand and it took awhile for everything to come together so it was homogenous). The next day I applied it to my skin and had exactly what I wanted. A silky light to medium coverage sunscreen that left my skin looking slightly dewy, but not greasy. Once it set (was no longer shiny), I applied a bit of blush and that was it. It set up leaving me looking natural - not overly dewy. It also had enough coverage to hide unevenness in my skin tone. It also doesn’t highlight my fine lines as much- only slightly under my eyes (which at my age comes with the territory). I also use this as part of my AM and PM skincare. Layering it with HA and my vitamin C serum. I will also use a bit before using my CosRx masks to add a bit more hydration. I usually spray my face with Eue Thermal mineral water before applying the beta glucan (or any HA product), then apply the mask. Overall, it’s a great option for anyone allergic to HA or wanting to boost their routine. Will it perform miracles? No. But it is a great booster. Using it in some of my cosmetics took some trial and error, but I’m really happy I tried it. So the purchase based just on that was worth it to me. Depending on how you use it, it seems to last a long time. Updated Comment 3/2026: I’ve been using this serum as part of daily my “skin flooding” routine. It’s kept my 59 year old skin looking plush and healthy. My fine lines aren’t as noticeable and the routine is easy, affordable, and all available on Amazon. I cleanse (I do a double cleanse when I’m wearing the Australian Gold BB Cream/Sunscreen), perhaps use a toner, spray my face with Avene Eue Thermal Mineral Water (or leave wet), apply the Beta Glucan Serum generously (2-3 droppers full), let it set for a minute or so, apply either Vanicream or CeraVe Intensive Moisturizer. If I’m going to be wearing makeup I will then apply my primer a minute or two after letting the moisturizer set (which will further reduce moisture loss), then apply my sunscreen/BB cream. I’ve also worn my P. Calm Sunscreen (which is amazing, BTW), over the serum after it has absorbed a bit on days when I’m not wearing makeup.

genuinely one of my most essential staples in korean beauty. i’ve been using this product for nearly four months and it’s done a great job hydrating my skin and plumping it up a bit more. i have acne prone so i do have monthly breakouts but this product is not responsible for clogged pores. i’ve actually noticed it has reduced the appearance of closed comedones on my face. i took a break from retinol until recently and didn’t do my skincare for two days (big mistake) because my skin started cracking and made my makeup look very flaky. i applied this overnight and reapplied the next morning with my purito oat moisturizer and miraculously healed my skin quickly. i highly recommend this product! make sure your skin is damp when applying.

Lightweight and immediate soft feel to skin but it doesn’t last :( after a month of daily use I did not see any improvement in hydration or complexion. Mild scent that isn’t horrible. It’s kind of sticky after application and feels a slightly heavy when dry.
