RADA Cutlery Super Parer Knife, Black Handle

Very sharp out of the sleeve. High quality for a mass produced knife. Cuts tomatoes great: I love my slices paper thin. And because it’s sharp, caution must prevail. And take care to not dull the edge like you would with extremely high cost knives. This will serve you well, with care. Would I buy another one? YES. I am looking into more offerings from Rada.

I found out about this brand for watching Karen Jones Food & Family you tube channel. I had not heard of this brand before. This brand of knives makes a quality product, very sharp knife with good handles. Easy to hold and use. Not recommended putting in the dishwasher as that will dull the knife.

I’ve had several of these knives for years. They are my go-to knives and I do put them in the dishwasher. So I gave some to two family members for Christmas and now they want more and other family members are requesting the Amazon link too. Just a spectacular knife.

The knife is very sharp. It cuts thew everything as if it's butter.

Have used these knives for years and they last forever. My favorite go to knives. Get the tomato knife, you won't b disappointed. I think I have all of them, the cleaver type too and the sharpener. You can sharpen these any time. Started buying these like 25 years ago when someone sold them at our mall. Have thrown out knives that cost a lot more.

This is a wonderful wonderful sharp night and just the right size and so handy. I keep this hidden from my family so they don't ruin it

Best knives I've ever had

I've been needing a new paring knife and researched the reviews of several knives. I can't be more pleased with the quality of this knife. It is everything others have said: well balanced, super sharp, holds its edge. I also have to say that the black handled version is definitely the one to choose. I think it is the newer version and is an alternative to the brushed silver handle. Most reviewers criticized that handle for tarnishing. This handle does not have that problem, is solid (not plastic), and has a good texture for a secure grip. I would still not put it in the dishwasher - but that is just to help protect the blade. My only complaint is regarding the size. It is a 'super parer' which means it is a little larger than a normal parer. Its longer blade makes it awkward to use as a parer but it is too short to be a full function utility knife. My recommendation would be to buy the regular parer and then a second knife for the specific other tasks you have. These knives offer great value for the money so don't bother trying to get one knife for two tasks.
