Got this as I have an 8 week old kitten and I work so needed something to give the midday meal. I played around with the timer first then put some food in it, set the timer and left it by my kittens normal bowl. My kitten could smell the food in there and was very excited to get in it. So when the timer went off and the lid opened he ate from there straight away. Problem solved!! A simple design but does the job brilliantly. Co es with a small ice pack for warmer months to keep the food fresh. Its a great buy, good price too.

We feed wet only and got one of these because it has an ice pack. We use it for mid-night feeding to keep the beast at bay - also for when we take day trips. The biggest negative is the battery situation. There's no indicator that the battery is low - it'll just not open. In fact, I would bet that most people who left a review that this item doesn't work, just had a low battery, and I say that because it happened to us too. We thought it was broken until we replaced the battery. You can hear it ticking so you think it's working but it just won't open when the time comes. If you're planning to use this when you take a trip, just be sure to put a brand new battery in there before you go. With that said, it's a fine little device. It gets the job done. No the timing isn't 100% accurate as it's done by hours, but it's close enough. If I go to bed at 10pm and set it to go off in 5 hours - it'll go off AROUND 3am - and the food will still be cool. It is meant to keep the food cool for six hours - obviously that depends on how warm of an environment it's in. For us, it happens to work. But again, if you're going on a long trip, it won't keep the food cool very long. Would recommend if your needs are fairly basic.

This will solve a lot of problems with feeding the cat. I am impressed with the quality and it will take a pouch of food quite easily.

There is no on/off switch so when not in use these have to be removed which is not easy to do and I found I had to use a pointed object to do so. The timing switch has a lot of play which makes it difficult to set accurate time. So if you need two to open simultaneously it doesn't happen and your dogs will not feed at the same time which the most hungry dog gets both or it can lead to fights. The lid is not airtight so when putting down the loaded feeder the dogs immediately try to open them. The switch is also faintly marked in white so I had to use a marker to emphasise where the arrow is. The only good thing about this device is the idea. I bought a double dish thinking it could be separated but discovered it could not so bought a second single one as I have 2 dogs that need such a dish fir their breakfasts to allow me not to have to get up early to feed them breakfast. This dish it totally useless and is a waste of money. Pretty disgusted. It does not deserve a single star.

Works well and easy to set up. My cat smelt the food and tried to get it out but couldn't because it was time for it to pop up!

Very simple to use and compact. Dog was a little perplexed at knowing / smelling food was in it but couldn’t get to it. Got the hang of it after two meals. Only issue is the fact that the timer is manual with a little bit of travel on the dial. This means the timings are not entirely accurate and so you may have the thing pop open a little earlier or later than the duration that you dial. Also, for a small unit, the noise from the timer constantly ticking is really quite loud. Perhaps this is more noticeable because we live in an age of digital clocks but if you’re sensitive or not used to a ‘tick tick’ noise in your home, you may find this intrusive. Taking batteries out when not in use gets around this problem. Nevertheless, small niggles for a well priced item that appears to be well made and does what it says it will do. Have yet to leave dog alone with it for a number of hours so not sure if it will stand up to extended pawing or chewing of edges………watch this space !

I’ve been using the Pawise Automatic Feeder for five years, and it still functions reliably. The 48-hour timer is simple to set, and the included ice pack helps keep wet food fresh for a while. It’s a great option for portion control or ensuring my pet gets a meal on time when I’m away for the day. However, the timer isn’t the most precise, so there can be slight variations in when it opens. The ice pack only stays cold for a few hours, so for longer periods, it’s not the best solution for wet food. Also, some pets might figure out how to nudge it open if they’re persistent enough. Overall, it’s a basic but reliable feeder that still works after years of use. It’s great for short-term feeding needs, but for longer trips or more advanced scheduling, a more high-tech option might be better.

1 h 30 min off several times so my cat had to wake me up to open it for him... Had to return it.

No es muy exacto en horas pero se abre bien y cumple su función. Los sobres fríos hay que dejarlos en el congelador para que luego mantengan bien la temperatura ya que se descongelan rápidamente. Mi gato todas las noches sobre las 4h pedía comida. Ahora come sin tener que levantarme pero le sigue gustando esa hora para saltar por encima de la cama. La función de la comida la hace pero la de calmar a un gato naranja, no jaajjajaa Sí hace el ruido del tick tack de la cuenta atrás. Que para muchos puede ser molesto, pero no es nuestro caso. De momento no ha fallado la apertura ningún día.

Cette mangeoire fait son job à savoir, distribuer de la nourriture humide à mon chat à 4h30 du matin . Mais elle est mal conçue dans la mesure où l'ouverture du clapet est assujettie à un bouton électromécanique servant de minuterie sur 48 heures : pourquoi mettre des piles alors qu'un simple minuteur de cuisine n'en a pas besoin. De plus, une minuterie sur 48 heures est très imprécise pour le réglage et pour finir, une fois le temps écoulé, le bouton continue de tourner. Il ne s'arrête pas tant que les 48 heures ne sont pas passées. De plus, le coussinet réfrigérant est loin de tenir 48 heures. Donc à déconseillr pour de la nourriture humide sur un grand laps de temps par temps chaud Attention, je n'ai pas trouvé à acheter un deuxième petit coussinet réfrigérant. De plu, la mangeoire n'est pas thermiquement isolée...

I bought this for my older dog to have a snack during the day to help his acid reflux )and I didn’t need one with a camera and a microphone, lol). It worked so well that I bought a second for our other dog. It is perfect for what we needed. It is simple and easy to use and super easy to keep clean. Only 2 things are important to note: the ice pack is small and thin, so if you need fresh food to stay chilled for more than 2 hours this is not the feeder for you (we only use it for dry snacks) and when the battery is low you don’t really know, it just stops running. We use it on days we are both gone for 6+ hours and one day the first feeder didn’t open because the battery died. At a later time when we were gone overnight I put a fresh battery in to be sure it would open. I think they are great and serve the purpose well. Thumbs up. :)
