Le Creuset Stoneware Mixing Jug, 2 L - Cerise

Excellent bowl. Pours very well and is a handy size. Heats up fine in the microwave (the handle remains totally cool). I make home made yoghurt and it's very hard to find a good jug that is not plastic (if you don't use UHT milk, you need to heat up the milk to about 80°C and let it cool and I don't want to do that in a plastic container). Further, the three lines on the side are very useful as they mark (respectively) 90cl, 1l and 2 pints. If making yoghurt from another yoghurt you need to pour the milk up to the first line, if making it from ferments, to the second. I am so happy with them and they are so useful (also not bad to look at) that I bought two of these bowls. One thing to be wary of: the weight of the bowls can vary quite a bit. Mine are about 1150g, which is fine. I had one which arrived broken and it weighed 1350g, so about 15-20% more. When full it makes a difference. So if your bowl feels a bit heavy, weigh it!

Prompt delivery, well packaged. I bought this for my son's family as they will inherit the same colour Le Creuset frying pan and an oven casserolle from grandad. Many uses for this kind of durable dish. Would recommed for those, who cook and need a generous size mixing jug, which can also be displayed in the kitchen with pride. My future daughter in law praises this jug and uses it daily.

Good sized jug. We make a lot a pancakes and Yorkshire puds & this makes pouring the mixture very easy, no drips! It's large enough to whip up muffins and small cake mixtures in. The pretty teal colour adds an element of joy. I got the matching medium spatula as well which just seems to work very efficiently. I never knew there were spatulas and there were spatulas (had a sheltered life).

I am a great fan of le Creuset cookware, and am delighted to have been able to add this to my collection for a reasonable price. It is very sturdy and well made, and a really pretty colour.

Can now transfer hot liquid from blender to jug, and transfer remaining liquid from pot to blender before adding all back to pot. Easy pour lip so no more mess. Also can make two loaves at same time, as can use to rise dough whilst other loaf is mixing. A time saver, used for mixing and pouring

I already have this jug in light blue and bought this for my brother as the quality is lovely. Great for mixing Yorkshire puddings in. Highly recommended.

I got this for Christmas, and unfortunately it got broken on our tile floor! Had to rush and order a new one! It is such a useful item, great for gravy, mixing and pouring Yorkshire pudding batter etc. At is is different than just your normal glass jugs!

Love all our Le Crueset jugs and casserole dishes, so imagine our horror when my wife accidentally knocked over our jug and broke the lip. Needed a replacement for Christmas and Amazon Prime ensured it arrived on time. This Le Crueset jug is so ideal for use with custard or gravy especially when we have a family dinner. Strong and dishwasher proof and pours at ease.
