How does it work? On skin, the Kinesio Tape pulls the upper layers of skin, creating more space between the dermis and the muscle. The space created is believed to relieve pressure on the lymph channels in the area between the muscle and the dermis, creating more space for lymph flow and thus better lymph drainage through an affected area. This space also houses various nerve receptors that send specific information to the brain. When the space between the epidermis and the muscle is compressed, such as during an injury, these nerve receptors are compressed and send information to the brain regarding continuous touch, light touch, cold, pain, pressure, and heat. This information causes the brain to send out certain signals to the body on how to react to particular stimuli. Kinesio Tape alters the information that these receptors send to the brain and causes a less reactive response in the body, allowing the body to work in a more normal manner and removing some of the roadblocks that normally slow down the healing process. Kinesio Tape also is felt to affect deeper tissues in the body. Increased space theoretically allows muscles greater contractility, which in turn pushes more fluid through the muscle, resulting in better muscle performance. The end results are believed to be reduced muscle fatigue, increase in range of motion, and better quality of muscle contraction. Kinesio Tape is used to improve joint alignment by affecting the muscles and fascia and can reduce poor function of a joint by influencing opposing muscle groups and joint mobility.

Invest in a different brand
Ugh I am so disappointed. After I bought this I saw a ton of different KT tapes and way better than this. This tape is lousy. I am an athlete with CMP and arthritis. I thought the y tape would be good but it did 0 for my plantar fasciitis and it has less longevity than KT tape the brand. Pro tech has been hit or miss I'm moving on from their brand

Perfect for Conditioning and Training with Runners' Knee
Recently started running Spartan Races. We all know what happens when you begin running after being out of shape and unconditioned for so long: Runners' knee. With routine workouts and my knees taped up nice and stable with this tape, it really helped to alleviate the pain, and I can now run without knee pain. Perfect for conditioning.Noteworthy: These things REALLY DO STICK, especially when utilized with the black reinforcement tape as seen in the photos. Held up to the mud and muck of a Spartan Race with no issues.Tip: DO NOT let these stick together once peeled or you will not get them apart easily.Will continue to purchase these.

It worjs very good but there is a better one
This does offer my wife some relief from her knee pain while she is awaiting knee replacement. There is another brand that gave mer more relief than these do but these really do help. I don't understand the whole Kinesio thing but if she gets relief, it's worth it's weight in gold. It does help but it's not the best one out there

It's ok tape, but very heavy.
I was excited about this tape. It's not easy to find precut tape at a reasonable price. However, it's VERY heavy. Most tape, I don't notice much after application, but this is heavy enough to "feel" it all the time. Also, it does not show in any of the pictures but, there is large white branding on each piece. That wouldn't have been a deal breaker for me, but I do feel that the product is misrepresented in the ads.

Tape will NOT stick to skin
Don’t buy this brand! Its cheap the tape doesn’t stick to skin for more than an hour. Get another brand like KT i bought different brands and this one sucks! I can’t even return it the seller won’t refund!

Great tape!! My knee loves it!
This tape is GREAT! I credit it entirely with the fact that I can run pain-free. I've tried other brands and I've tried the cut-your-own tapes but found the ease of this pre-cut tape the best. The first time I used this tape it didn't stick too well, as other reviewers have noted, but now I run my hand over the tape after I've applied it and have never had a problem since. I usually take off the tape after each run but after a recent injury, I left it on for a few days. I could get about four days of support before I had to change it. I think this tape might be a little heat sensitive -- it can sometimes pull coming off if I don't cool down first, and, as I mentioned, it sticks better after I run my palm over it, but to me that's a plus. I love this product. I've ordered it a bunch of times and will continue to do so as long as it's available.

Works well
This tape always works very well. I have not tried the cheaper brands because this particular brand always.works very well for me. It helps with swelling and a basic tape job is all that us necessary.

Love this tape
Love this tape! Helps my knee after total knee replacement. Not sure how it does what it does but for me it does the job!
