Enjoy Hawaii Li Hing Mui Plum Powder (Bag, 4 ounces)

It was good not bad for Price, it’s purpleish, taste was a little different from the normal One but good

Yuck! I bought three bags of this a few months ago and it was fantastic. I ordered three more and this batch is terrible! It is bright red and tastes too salty and like chemicals. The lighter one one the left is the old stuff, the bright one on the right is the new gross one. So disappointed!

The Powder has great flavor. Brings an extra layer of flavor that will wake your tastebuds up. If you know you know. This brand is my go to.

You need an acquired taste for this. I was looking for an ume flavored powder. As in umeboshi, the Japanese pickled plum. I never knew this li Hing mui even existed but I saw people describe it as ume so I thought I might try it. It’s not. It has a slight ume flavor, but not like the sour pickled plum flavor that I wanted. I’m still trying to figure out what to do with it.

I think this is the best li hing muipowder. I tried another brand and it was "gritty" this one is not. It is so smooth. And the flavor is great! I will order again. The only problem is that Amazon notes that this is 6 oz and it is only 4 oz.

I was looking for the same Enjoy brand I found at the swap meet in Hawaii. What they sent me was like a medium-khaki/tan color, completely devoid of any traces or red/orange. Also, no plum!!! The photo for this listing shows plum as an ingredient, but mine says plum flavor!!! Not to mention aspartame. . . Why? Li Hing Mui powder isn’t even supposed to be this sweet. They basically sent me a bag of aspartame/licorice powder that tastes disgusting on everything. It doesn’t even have color when it gets wet! Unless you want brown, disgusting pineapple, don’t even try it! If you have the real stuff stashed away someplace, please send me a bag, and I’ll update my review.

I’m from Oahu, we ate sweet li hing mui growing up. This li hing powder is the best! I put it on craisins and shake it up. It’s almost as good as the li hung mui I loved as a child. I love this stuff!
