The Perfect Switch
We live in an older home that does not have a ventilating fan so normally we would have to put a fan in an open window to push fresh air into our bedroom. I monitor our air quality for obvious reasons however when we need to close our bedroom door, ventilation is a challenge. Little switch to the rescue. I installed this smart switch in our en-suite bathroom fan control. I keep the remote on my nightstand and when I notice the air quality monitor (Newentor CO2 Monitor Amazon purchase) is in a high CO2 range I can remotely turn on our bathroom fan to draw fresh air into the room and thanks to the timeout feature which can be set by the downloaded app, it will shut off the fan in 10 minutes. If you’re still with me, I can share some thoughts about installation. If you don’t know the difference between line and load when wiring then get an electrician. This is a four wire hookup that can be challenging if you are a novice. Now on to the wireless (wifi) stuff. The application setup can be challenging. First the switch has to be seen on your WiFi. Then the remote switch needs to be paired to the switch. This is accomplished by holding down the light switch until the WiFi symbol on the switch blinks rapidly allowing you to discover your home WiFi which must have a 2.4g option. After this you can use the app to turn your light/fan on and off. Then repeat the process to pair the remote control unit by holding the switch down for a shorter time until you see a slow blinking WiFi symbol on the switch and now pressing one of the two remote buttons until the switch light goes out an voila! I’m almost there. I was wondering, how to have the switch time off after a set time and this can be set up in the app. Two buttons on remote so you can control two light switches if needed. So enjoy. My takeaway is that setup is challenging. You need to know how to wire a four wire switch without too much cursing in the dark with a flashlight and be familiar enough with WiFi pairing on your phone or iPad or whatever you use. The end result is quite satisfying and I would recommend this switch.

Product burns up batteries
I tried twice to get information from this company as to why it has become necessary to replace the battery in the remote control unit every three days as the unit is not in a working condition when you need to use it remotely. The main electrical unit was fairly easy to install if you know the electrical circuit inside the existing wall switch and the new wall switch works fine. However after replacing the battery, three days later the remote does not work when you want to use it. It is as if the unit was in a constant on condition instead of using the battery current only when you press the button.

Perfect
I wanted a switch with a remote control so I could turn my celiing fan on or of from bed. The remote pairing worked in a snap. I had bought another switch (Smart Light Switch by OHMAXX) and I hated it. There was a light that blinked constantly (that sucks while your trying to sleep), I had a very difficult time pairing the remote and then once I did pair it, it worked intermittently. I returned it a couple days after I got it.On this switch, you can't tell if it is on or off by looking at it. You just press it and either comes on or off - there's no up or down position of the button. That's not really a problem just something you have to get used to. There is a small red light (that does not blink) on the switch that indicates it is on.The Tuya app is used to control the switch which os noce since I have a couple smart plugs that also use the same app.The only problem I had when installing the switch was bit of trouble gettng all the wires back in the box so I could put the plate back on. I liked that is came with stickers for you to label your wires - ground, live, neutral.

Works well. Easy to install
I have installed three Name Brand wifi switches so I was prepared for a little bit of trouble. There really was none for my application.ProsEasy to install the switch in my junction Box.The App download process was easy and set up through the App went quickly. The remote was easy to pair.Every thing works.ConsThe instruction booklet has small print and needs to be read several time, particularly if this is your first effort,The actual switch is larger than the normal switch so you need a full size box. If you have an older home, the box might be a tight fit.You need a neutral wire (White) for this to work. Older homes sometimes do not have neutral wires to overhead lights.Overall, the App is much less user friendly than the Name Brand Apps and not as polished. The remote uses RF NOT Wifi to turn on and off the light. This makes me think that since the switch can be turned on or off from the wall and the remote that you do not have to use your home network and wifi to make the light go on and off.I do not plan to use Alexa to turn this light on so I have no idea how well that process works,

Works well, pairing is a little quirky, and you need to get the right app.
This is an easy to install, somewhat bulky if you are going into an older box, but it will fit. It will fit a standard outlet cover without any fitting. You do need a neutral wire. I found it a little difficult to pair but I got it working eventually. The switch is super responsive when using Alexa, and I'd assume it would be as fast with any similar systems. I got this particular one because of a remodel of an in-law's suite built in the late 70s. The space is limited, and knocking out walls to rewire was not part of the plan, and so a switch for the light in the kitchenette ended just behind the refrigerator. The remote can be surface mounted which gave me a physical switch that was easy to access, and with the control by voice it's not really needed anyway, but if the internet goes down this is just an RF remote so it will work. The physical switch is just a push it once for off, once for on. Nothing fancy. No dimming, and not meant for a 2 switch system although if you wanted to replace a single switch you could mount the remote as another switch, like at the top of some steps in an attic or something I guess.
