OCTOMASK - Frameless Dive Mask w/Mount for All GoPro Hero Cameras for Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Freediving (Clear)…

I have been an Aqua Lung micromask person for over 10 years. When trying to film spearfishing I was having issues with my head mount falling off my head. I decided to try this mask with integrated mount hesitantly because I liked my old mask so much. However, this is just as good as that mask and even has a softer feel. The camera mount works and it's easy to adjust the POV angle.

I am an underwater shooter in 8K/IMAX certified quality. But I always love to have some BTS, to show how I got some of these crazy shots and whatever else happened that the viewer didn't see. I've been using these masks for years and years and recently bought another round of them. Most brands have the mount as an add-on afterthought, which means it can and does break more easily. This is built in with the mount being the first front of mind thought which means it is solidly robust. Great mask, you won't regret it, especially the low profile one for caving/caverning, which you actually get more peripheral vision because it is right up close to your eyes.

I did not like the softness of the mask, and the edges cut into my cheeks. Im am a professional hardhat diver and avid freediver so i have used many different masks over the years, i had high hopes but it disappointed. The camera mount was nice but... again do to the softness of the material the mask was able to shift around too much because of the added weight to make it viable for a full day of free diving or SCUBA, and the shifting created leaks. I gave the mask to one of the other divers that works with me to see if it was just me, they had the same feedback.

I was worried about a noob company to the fervid mask market, but I have to say that (reserving some time to really test it) this appears to be very good kit. The lenses are really nice thick glass and the skirt is supple, pliable, and very comfortable. I recently tested the Riffe version of this mask, the Mantis 3, and I would not pay more than $20 for it... it just isn't good for me. Whereas the OctoMask allows me to easily clear the eye area when doing deep (past 40') and continues to be easy to clear (past 70'), the Riffe is difficult to clear at 40 and impossible at 70. This might be my face, but I prefer the OctoMask either way. This mask also has a very low internal volume, much like my go-to Omer Zero-Cubed but appears to be much higher in build quality. I find that I dive deeper, longer, and easier when my equipment is just right and this mask is just right. Plus I can capture the action with my GoPro! I am truly impressed so far.

This mask has provided me crystal clear views and zero problems since I've owned it. The GoPro mount is stable and has allowed me to capture some beautiful footage of my dives. Expecting to use this for years to come! Highly recommend.

es una gran opcion si vas a hacer apnea o snorkel por poco tiempo y si tienes acoquinamiento natural(carne -grasa) en la cara, a lo mejor yo por ser de constitucion delgada sufrí el dolor del frame arriba donde se monta la camara, pero seria bueno ver opiniones de otras personas que lo usaron, el diseño y tamaño son buenos , lo use en una expedición para grabar ballenas en principio durante dos semanas y desde el primer momento me causo dolor en la frente. lo deje de usar muy rápido, es una lastima porque es de las únicas opciones para montar naturalmente una gopro o similar

Mask is built solid. Great glass on it with a metal frame. Rubber is very soft an comfortable. However, it was too small for my face and it kept leaking right underneath my nose. The frame also rested right on the bridge of my nose. Seems like it would work great for smaller faces than mine or if I didn't have a Roman nose.

I have not dived with it yet but I love the quality compared to the four (4) other masks that I own for snorkeling, tech diving, and rec diving. The storage bag that comes with it was icing on the cake. Keep it Simple and great quality. I would buy this mask without the GoPro feature. Nicely made. Price comparable to what I pay for my other Tech Diving masks.

Great product, good visibility, good wide angle too, comfortable and durable. Not good with go pro bouyancy pad on the backdoor of camera.
