Symbol LS2208-SR20007R Motorola LS2208 Scanner

We sent you a review abaout an hour ago regarding an issue with the LS2208 not lighting up or scanning, after incorrect setting by one of our retail customers. We asked you to recommend a source to address these. Please cancel that request. We did a power cycle of the PC it was attached to. Then shut off the power to the PC. Attached the device to a USB port, powered up the PC and EVERYTHIJNG RAN GREAT. Sorry to have bothered you :)

It’s pretty easy to set up. Easy to use. Now I wish I had bought the one that has more options such as multiple lines rather than just one like this model.

We use about 5 of these in our office. Great all around scanner. Works on even very small barcodes (couple milimeters tall). I think this is probably like the worlds most popular barcode scanner, I try to buy them used when possible, and can usually find them. Reads all popular barcode types that I know of, and with a little research can be easily adapted to scan even more obscure types. Easy to use just plug into a windows computer if you have the USB adapter.

Completely dissatisfied. I ordered 5 of these and none of them would scan reliably. I got one scanner to scan a barcode intermittently but angle of the scanner had to be just perfect. I have the same model on my desk that I have used for years so I know the barcodes I am using are fine. I also know that angle of the scanner in reference to the barcode is not that touchy. I even tried scanning the barcodes in the Quick Start Guide - still didn't work. I noticed that the laser line from my scanner is nice and clean. Not the case for these. These are going back.

I thought I might be getting this in a couple of days but apparently they ship directly from China. I suppose 9 days from China to Colorado isn't too bad though. The packaging was marginal, but the scanner didn't seem to suffer for it, so that was good. It came with the scanner, a page of "Quick Start" instructions and a cord to plug the scanner into a USB port. Plugging the thing in was easy and amazingly it worked immediately. We have had it for a few days now and have had no problems with it scanning our barcodes into a Windows 10 computer program. Installation was as simple as plug&use, and it has worked exactly as desired without any issues. It would be nice if it came with some sort of stand/holder, but we're getting by without one so far and it's not a major problem for us. So overall... easy set up, it works as desired, what more could I ask for really.

The scanner I received works fine, but it is obviously used.

USB Cable not included! Scanner is working fine with other cables I purchased. But it is false advertising if it is not included.

This gadget is worth the money. so easy to setup. Best scanner for blood products.
