Red Kap Men's Twill Action Back Coverall, Black, 46

I bought the 46R. It is a tiny long in the body for me and I may have to have the legs and arms shorted but fits well. Sizing can be found on the Red Kap page. Also if it was any smaller I would have trouble getting it off due to me having fairly broad shoulders. . I am a woman who is 5 foot 5 and a half inches 175 lbs. I hope that helps you size it. I cannot judge it as work gear as I am going to use it for cosplay. I wonder if Red Kap knows how many starship uniforms they sell. It seems nice and heavy and sturdy. And the washing instructions include both industrial and home washing machines. I am not worried about it shrinking. I like the fact that the zipper is covered. This helps the costumer look good and the workman not to scratch things with the zipper. It looks to be a very quality garment.

I wore Nomex while I worked at a refinery for 17 years. Though Nomex was supposed to be a flame proof material, this coverall is really comfortable and well made. The only negative I have is getting the coverall OFF. It takes some real effort to remove it off your shoulder. You have to really arch your back then grab one side and pull it off your shoulder. I think that after a few washings it will be easier.

We bought this for a Halloween costume, but it’s such good quality that my husband uses it for work around the house. Good product !

Husband uses these as crawl suits for his termite and pest control company. They fit great and have lasted a year so far all still in good shape.

I'm a 5'10", 170 lbs, average build male. This fits well with a normal pair of clothes underneath. It's a little high in the crotch as it rides up a bit when bending down. The sleeves/shoulders are a little tricky to get into, but once you do it's comfortable. Based on other reviews, I first purchased a 44 regular which would have fit ok without a pair of clothes on underneath, and then a 44 Long hoping that it would also be a bit bigger elsewhere. Returned them and settled for this 46 Regular. Probably could go up to a 48 Regular, but then the sleeves and legs would probably be a little too big for me. The fabric is very heavy duty and very stiff. Passthrough pockets to your jeans are nice, although the opening is bigger than the huge normal hip pockets which make it a 50/50 chance of which one you'll put your hand in first. Rear pockets and chest pockets are also good size.

In this age, the only coveralls that fit, wear and function as have over the past decades (in the USA), are Red Kap brand and Dickies manufacture. This pair is no exception either. I have tried cheaper, odd import models for reference and was v disappointed in the above details. I grew up around my dad's electronics service shop of decades past and coveralls were a must in the field and shop, particularly in installation work. Dickies have been harder to get plus manufacturing in sizing, function and durability has changed yet their prices have increased. I am thankful for the Red Kap work clothes line.

Bought for a play. Girl had a 48” waist. Had to roll up pants. So well made that even after taking a beating on stage, it still looks new.

These are as good as any I've purchased locally from Work Whse or others. Price was good, delivery was quick and I didn't have to drive anywhere to pick them up or wait for a sale. They fit as I expected, I did order a size larger based on other reviews and am glad I did. The material is durable, sewing/seams is of high quality, and they are holding together well. Great purchase - highly recommended.
