Review: Grumpy Monkey is a great lesson on how to cope with a bad mood - Grumpy Monkey by Suzanne Lang is a wonderful examination of what it feels like to wake up on the wrong side of the bed. This message easily resonates with both parents and children alike, as everyone can relate to a time when they just felt “off” but didn’t really have a justifiable explanation as to why. Max Lang’s vibrant illustrations bring the theme of the story into existence in a way that is inviting and fun. The characters are drawn in a humorous yet unique way, which provides them with personality beyond the descriptions that are provided in the text. There are many moments where the illustrations of the grumpy monkey make us laugh while also making us sympathize with his sour mood. Overall, this is a wonderfully colorful and inviting picture book for parents and children alike. This book gives the reader permission to be grumpy and emphasizes the importance of accepting when our own moods are under the weather. I highly recommend this book for anyone who has children as it invites many important conversations on how to advocate for ourselves when we need time to reset our moods.

Helps understand anger is okay
This is such a good book. Let you and your baby learn about anger for no reason. I enjoy reading it to my baby and the quality of the book is a plus. I recommend this book

A grumpy grandma
Sometimes grandma's get tired and grumpy after watching her grandkids all day. This book is such a wonderful story to share to a young one when the adult gets grumpy. I bought 2 books. 1 for each one of my grandsons. They absolutely love the book. So do I. A good teaching book made with love both for children and adults.
