Hwp H-BSBA Brass-Saver for Baritone Horn Set

I was expecting a much longer item. Disappointed. It's *shorter* than a trumpet snake. That doesn't make sense.

It works just like they said, great product thank you.

The brushes are the perfect size for drying out the inside of small and large baritones. However the snake is flimsy and the entire package is way overpriced. I did really well in buying soft bottle brushes at half the cost. Look elsewhere for a better snake.

I repair breast instruments for a living. This makes a really good cat toy.

Great product with good design so it doesn't scratch inside casings or slides.

The HW system works very well for cleaning out my euphonium. I bought both the larger and smaller sizes because my horn has such a wide variety of tubing sizes and some very tight curves. The large kit includes a straight brush that works well for tuning slide runs and for cleaning out the caucades in the pistons. The biggest advantage is that the snakes are very tough. The are made of nylon so they will not damage the brass, but they can take a lot of tugging without breaking.

I have been clinically diagnosed as having sleep apnea and I have to use a CPAP breathing device. BUT -- there is no way to clean the damn tubes without getting into the shower with the darn thing! However -- this Baritone cleaning snake is JUST THE THING for cleaning out the breathing tube. I recommend it highly for all CPAP users.

I am rather disappointed in this product. Based on other products sold by HW Products, I expected it to be of high quality and to work well. Unfortunately, after receiving my cleaning tools I realized they were made of cheap material, stretched when being pulled through the horn, and was made of cheap plastic. I actually tried cleaning my horn with them. I definitely wish I had purchased a higher quality product. If I could get my money back, I would but the shipping probably isn't worth the hassle.

Pratique, se transporte facilement dans le case de l'euphonium. Ce n'est pas de la super qualité, mais ça fait la job. Parfaitement adapté à la grosseur du réceptacle des pistons de l'euphonium. Pour le prix, ça vaut la peine. Par contre, parfois les poils de la brosse se détachent.

Ecouvillon tout doux pratique pour nettoyer les petits bouts de tubes entre les pistons. (et du coiup, comme il est tout doux, il est parfait pour ma flûte ténor en bois aussi !) Mais attention pour un nettoyage complet de votre tuba il en faudra un bien plus long et pour un nettoyage genre "récupération d'un vieux coucou rempli de confettis" il faudra une brosse plus rigide.
