Milk Thistle - Herbal Liver Support Supplement - Natural Formula Helping to Maintain Overall Health & Wellbeing - (100 Capsules, 500mg Each)

I take these occasionally after nights out where maybe a couple too many beers/shots are consumed. The science is there these are supposed to help the liver, but who really knows... Overall cheap insurance and they seem like decent quality.

I just started taking this brand but the one thing I notice right away is they dont make me sick to my stomach as many other variety & brands of Milk Thistles Ive tried have. The price is great too. The capsule size is large but bearable.

I was desperate to try something natural that might help a psoriasis sore on the back of my thigh, that just kept getting itchier and itchier~ tried everything~ heavy dose probiotics, vitamins and supplement regimens, eating whole foods, getting enough sleep and including meditative modalities to help alleviate stress, digestive aids, lots of moisturizers and oils applied topically, but I knew it had to be something internal.... not only was the psoriasis there, but I had felt out of sorts for months on end, increasingly depressed and anxious~ and I am a person who is pretty aware of my physical and mental state and keep tabs on what goes into my body that might affect me in those areas.... enter milk thistle... just on a whim decide to buy thinking it couldn't hurt~ and, I kid you not~ within hours felt what I can only describe as a "cooling" sensation in my body, like inflammation was being taken down a level, and that maybe the milk thistle was actually doing something, cleaning my blood perhaps... within a few days, the redness of my psoriasis started to dissipate and minor skin shedding was occurring, which means it was healing.... I felt more energetic and clearer thinking than I had in months, and my depression and anxiety have continued to abate. I read later that milk thistle cleans out the liver, and the liver plays a hand in dealing with your hormone levels which would explain my anxiety/ depression for no reason~ a clogged & sluggish liver also can't detoxify quickly enough so it sends toxins out thru your skin, thus, the psoriasis... all of this is getting better with continued use of the milk thistle, and I couldn't be more grateful.

My infectious disease doctor ordered these along with several other supplements. My liver enzymes were elevated due to medications that I was taking. After starting these, and the other supplements, my enzymes went down to normal. To be fair, I did stop some of the regular medications, but one of my enzymes has been elevated for years. It came down after starting the supplements. There is a little taste and odor, but not too bad. The combination of medications and supplements can upset the stomach, but if you eat with them, it prevents this issue. They aren't huge, so they aren't difficult to take.

Reasonably priced and received the product very quickly .my doctor recommended 1gram and it was easy to to fulfill my needs.no side ,and easy to swallow.
