The water does not flow down the chain, but rather splashes all over. Don’t buy!
I am so disappointed! This product looks amazing, but does not work at all. I had to buy a funnel product to guide the rainwater from gutter spout to the chain. The water then flowed into the first cup. But the water leaves the next cup and hits all of the sun “rays” and splashes all over! This continues down the chain in that manner.

Mesmerizing
This is a beautiful addition to our home. It is really mesmerizing to watch. It does splash a bit, so is not as efficient as a gutter, but where we have it placed it really isn't a problem for us.

Look great but the wind is a problem
The wind really whips them around and they bang on the side of the house. I just move the bowl away and put it back when we expect rain.

Unsure if quality
Weld on one chain broke unpackaging it. Not sure how it will stand up to Florida rainy season. But extremely nice looking. I hope it was worth the money.

The packaging could have been better.
One arm of the sun was broken at the base and had to be repaired. Another arm was bent. The packaging was tight could have been better. The quality is very good.
