solidly built, good instructions and parts, works great, configurable for most every scenario. I went with the windstorm resistant version for our exterior higher-traffic door. No problems so far, will be purchasing more to complete the project. - I love the low-profile, no-snag design. Sleek, minimalist, and safe. - I appreciate that the packaging is small and efficient (less waste in all aspects). Price seems more affordable than other brands, but still well-built.

Although it’s a bit on the expensive side, it’s well built and does the job it’s supposed to.

Installed on an exterior steel door of an old industrial building. Installation was very very easy using the magnetic mounting template (sold separately, HES 9000-MTK). I have a few of these in the field now, some in high-traffic areas, and they've been completely trouble-free for years. Definitely one of my favorite strikes.

I usually purchase these from the supply house but they didn’t have them in stock so I paid just a bit more and ordered them from Amazon. They are bulletproof. Just remember they are V DC not V AC. I recommend using a AL624 from Altronix off of a 24v transformer.
