Mrs. Albright is an ordinary-looking little old lady who checks in at a quiet New England boarding house. Little do the other guests know that Mrs. Albright is actually a demon intent on stealing their souls and imprisoning them forever in her book of paper dolls. Review: Charles Band and Blue Moon at their best! - I had been looking for this movie at a reasonable price for a few years and was surprised that it had been re-released in a brand new edition! Thank you desertcart! Either you love or hate those campy Charles Band Blue Moon movies or love them. I am of the latter persuasion and own several titles, namely "The Vault", "Demonic Toys revenge" and "Crawlspace". I saw the trailer for "Stitches" and now I own it. The storyline is about a Demon from hell who dons the skin of an elderly woman and appears at a rooming house to recruit more souls to take back with her. She slyly enamors herself as a friendly and helpful co-tenant while finding out the lusts and animosities among the other roomers only to pit them against each other and thus come to her for help which she gladly provides after they one by one trade their souls for it with the most pious and difficult to recruit saved for last. "Stitches" is a great movie for times when the viewer wants an hour and a half of campy pleasure. Review: . - Good b horror.

Pretty good
Low key, low budget but carries a bit of Victorian heinous murder atmosphere. Closing bit with servant girl raises the rating as it is a good Devil vs. human outcome. The recent film Devil is similar , high budget and more entetaining but this has enough creepiness.

Worth watching. But watch it else where, they don't have the movie. Too bad. Fun too watch.
It's a shame Amazon know longer has this movie. I had to watch it else where but I still wanted to put in my 2 cent in for the review. For a B movie, I thought it was entertaining and the acting was good. Mrs. Albright, was a badass demon who collected souls to bring back to hell with her. But first she had to trick her victims. I was a bit disappointed when they only showed the demon once what he really looked liked when he peeled off his skin. That was cool how he threaded the skin on to a bobbin with the sewing machine. Then trap their souls in paper dolls it made, and placed it in a book for save keeping. A genius idea!! Worth watching with your favourite can of beer or wine. Lol!! Cool ending.

This movie is ok. Its a little slow moving, but does tell a good story. This would be a good movie to remake to make it way more scary.
