Chances are, if you are putting these into a front load washing machine, It isn't the bearings that are bad. It is most likely the aluminum ring that holds the bearing. I fixed our washer twice in the 20 years we owned it. The second time I fixed it I bought this set of bearings and installed them. The third time it went bad we decided it was time for a new washer.

PERFECT FIT FOR MY LG WASHER

Machine runs like new again -- difficult part was separating the drum from the old bearings. I had to apply penetrating oil, and let sit overnight. After that, it eventually came lose using a small sledge hammer, and a long, sacrificial carriage bolt to drive the shaft all the way through both bearings. (The bolt bears the brunt of the pounding, rather than spindle. Also the bold was long enough (5 inches) that I could contunie driving down past the rear bearing, and out through the front). After that the job was pretty straight forward. The old bearing was very useful to help press in the new bearing.

The bearings fit and work but they are a little small. The smaller bearing will just fall out and is not snug all. That causes them to wobble a little when the washer is in a fast spin cycle. They work but it causes a noise we did not have before.
