Minnetonka Women's Kilty Soft Leather Sole Moccasin

Editing after 1 year of continual use. Sizing is tricky for how they will reshape with use. Or, how I use them. If I ordered again I would order my regular size. Yes they felt almost dangerously sloppy out of the box. Solution was to tighten the drawstring lacing. Difficult, it does not slide like a shoelace and took some wrangling to get enough loose to Crank It Down but did manage and repeated several times early on. I expected the sole to wear out quickly, it has not and if anything toughened up. I am retired and it is a house moccasin I have no hesitation stepping out into my gravel/weeds/weed whacked debris/muddy/mossy ground surrounding my coffee Shack to speak to a neighbor. A big plus is everything collected wipes off on a mat. I have kept the foam footbed and it still feels like I am barefoot. Again about the sizing perhaps particular to me is I have Elf great toes that stick up and have stressed the lacing to the point of breaking requiring repair. (I blanket stitch sutured it with a chunk of narrow ribbon and big eye blunt needle) I think the correct size would have avoided stressing the seam and instead my great toe would have just bumped out the leather. Yes the leather does stretch but I should have just snugged down my correct size with the drawstring. I still think the sole would wear out quickly on City surfaces but so comfortable I have been tempted to wear them. Probably would if they weren't so expensive to replace.😉 The leather drawstring does not stay tied especially at first after I untied them. It gets better as the leather breaks in but on occasion one moccasin still annoys me. I have not cut down the drawstring instead tie in a giant bow as tight as possible and knot the bow again as tight as I can. I don't want to glue the string in place as I have snugged them down several times - the advantage of a drawstring. Overall really I have no complaints other than cost. Please see below for my original review. Arrived quickly and packaged well enough. Packed very well in the 'shoebox.' First thing other viewers were correct regarding sizing. I went down one half size and should have gone down one and one half with expectation they will stretch out. (Regular 7 and 1/2 and look for wide.) Would have liked more color choices, thinking another color would have been better - oh well not worth returning. I purchased these for an indoor slipper. Prefer Barefoot but with only tile get dirty feet really quick where I recently moved into. I look for this type of shoe from a pair similar I purchased over 20 years ago. The company no longer made that style. :( sadly the company no longer made that style. Those were pretty tight when bought and took a long time to stretch out too loose. Finally wore them out beyond repair. Took a prolonged search to find something like them and this was the closest I could find. Have only just got them and not sure about the foam pad sole insert. Might be too hot in my tropical climate. But probably would be too big without the insert and wear through the sole much quicker. With a good size bunion on one foot I do like I don't need to stretch that shoe out to accommodate it. (Very reactive to the slightest pressure.) I like I don't feel like kicking them off when sitting down like with a even lightweight slipper type shoe. If I walked a lot in them I am sure they would be too loose too big. However they will not take any breaking in and stretching out for places too tight on foot. Very soft suede leather. I like zero support features. Entire sides and bottom of foot is one whole piece of leather. No irritating stitching anywhere or rough edges. Overall happy with this shoe and looking forward to getting much use out of them.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and they are beautiful and true to size. I'm on my 3rd pair of the moccasins without a sole and I have 4 pairs of Minnetonka Moccasins with a sole. I love them all

This is the second pair of these moccasins I have gifted to my wife. She loves them and wears them daily as "house shoes". They are well made and very comfortable.

They’re okay, but have been demoted to in house slippers since they no longer have the rubber soles

I purchased my usual size the first time. It was 1/2 size too large. I repurchased and it fits much better. The right shoe fits better than the left shoe. The left is almost like a “non” foot- neither right nor left. After repeated wearing it has come to fit better.

Je voulais des souliers confortable et facile à mettre pour ma grossesse et ils remplissent très bien cette mission. Par contre je dois avouer que pour des marches plus longues j'ai besoin de plus de support. Je fais normalement du 6,5-7 et j'ai pris du 5,5, et le fit est parfait.
