I love this frosting it is very simple to make and you can add your own flavoring and color to it its very easy to make .you can't find it in the store.

This is the best icing for white topping.

I've used this since I was a kid. Good on angel food. My kids and grandkids use it as dip for rice Kristie treats. Glad I found somewhere to buy it.

My mom used this on my birthday cake when I was little and I’ve never stopped loving it. One of a kind flavor and texture. Great quality product with consistent results every time. So easy to make, just add hot water and whip it up with a simple hand mixer. I also appreciate that it is vegan and fat free.

Personally, I love this stuff. A light fluffy icing that's not too sweet. My Mom used to make this when was a kid 60 years ago.I miss boxed icings from the grocery store, canned icing is disgusting. Anyway A++ for this stuff, Willy Wonka would approve.

Church potluck chocolate chip meringue bar recipe saved! I can't find this frosting anywhere local and it's the only mix that I can bake in the oven without it turning into crusty/crispy meringue. It's almost a cross between meringue and marshmallow, but without all the super sweet marshmallow flavor. My favorite Christmas bar cookie can now be a year-round treat again. I'm not sure I really needed 12 boxes, but I'm cheap and didn't want to pay more per box from other sellers.

Back in the day (as in "once upon a time, long, long ago"), I would beat egg whites, then, ever so slowly, add a thin stream of boiled sugar syrup (as I recall a 7-inch thread. You young'uns look up what that means). It would make a gorgeous, white, cloud-like meringue icing for a cake. However, if not done correctly, it could weep (look it up), it could end up being a bit crusty on the top and if the weather was hot, it would deflate. This frosting mix takes care of all those possible negatives and still manages to have the taste and texture of homemade. It's not easy to find in many grocery stores anymore. I guess even making the mix is too difficult for some folks. It's easy, less pricy than multiple egg whites (if not used in the cake, what does one do with all the leftover yolks?). Highly recommended!

My mom made angel food cake with this icing every year for my birthday and I can't have a birthday cake without it. Unfortunately, I've never found it anywhere else other than my home state of MN. I moved decades ago, but I'd pick up a box or two when I flew home for a visit, But after the passing of my parents, I haven't returned in awhile. Found it on Amazon at a rather high price for two boxes, so I bought the case (price per unit was reasonable) and shared it with my kids so they can carry on the tradition. Still the perfect topping for cake. (some of you may know it by the recipe name "7-minute icing," but I'm not using 12 egg whites to try and make it from scratch!)

This is the best frosting out there, very easy and delicious, makes a generous amount to cover the cake. Highly recommended!!!

Love this frosting. Woolies used to provide something like this but now they don't. I bought these from the U.S. where I'm from. My mom would often use this icing for all her chocolate cakes. Came in a 12-pack box. They'll last a long time, and will save a lot of time as well, as I no longer have to make this fluffy, marshmallowy frosting from scratch. I like to add different flavors to it as well; very versatile.
