I love this wire for a good wire weaving

I needed different colors of sturdy wire for a button and Styrofoam project and this assortment fit the bill perfectly.

I am just starting with wire work in my jewelry projects so this was a good set for me, as a beginner. I can try a few techniques and have different colors available for following patterns. I did mostly buy it to practice with and I am certainly not at the stage where I would sell jewelry or give gifts I made to people, so do keep that in mind as you read this review. (This is probably not what you would want if you were a professional. But it is an economical choice for someone who is still learning.)This is coated so you may have trouble with the color flaking off. I have mostly been using it with a coiling gizmo and a bracelet jig, so I haven't had this issue yet since the work I have done is primarily by hand. If you are going to be using pliers a lot, I'd recommend ones with nylon jaws or a nylon coating as this should be gentler on the wire (you can buy lots of such pliers on Amazon).I got twelve different colors; some are similar but, to my eye, they are not exactly the same. I bought these same packages in other gauges to use with other wire working tools and the colors match across "buy-the-dozen" sets so if you want to use multiple gauges of wire in coordinating colors, that would be possible. I do feel the gauge (20) listed on the package is accurate, and this is easy to cut with my flush cutters or a regular wire cutter. Please note there are only 3 yards on each of these spools.Overall, this is a nice, inexpensive set to practice with. If you make jewelry with it, do try to avoid getting it wet or sweaty, as that should help preserve the finish for longer. Also avoid harsh abrasives during cleaning. (I would have higher standards for something pricier, but at around ten bucks, I am just fine with the quality.)

This is a great way to sample different colors in the popular size of 20 guage. The price was right too. Highly recommended. This is dead soft pliable wire excellent for wore wrapping, making ear wires, etc.

Product is as expected, except for the colors. Some are vibrant as shown on the pic and video but multiples of the same. Not satisfied.The brown , champagne and maroon or purple looking one all basically look the same and not vibrant at all. It shows an aqua and a green. I received two greens. I was really looking forward to the aqua, it's my spouses preferred. All in all I guess for $10.29 you really can't ask forexceptional quality.

I purchased this wire assortment to change-up some of my wire jewelry pieces. The colors are vibrant and the 20-gauge is just the right size for most jewelry projects. I like the look of Niobium colored wire, but the cost is just too expensive for larger pieces of jewelry. This wire offers the quality of jewelry wire and beautiful, affordable colors.
