Well made and handy.

Great for meetings and sales calls.

I've had this several months and use it daily. The zipper still, case and compartments still work very well. The accents on the outside of the case are scuffed up and shaving off with daily use over time, but I didn't buy it to look good, so I don't care about that. If you're looking for a "sales book" that looks awesome all the time, this ain't it. But, if you're looking for a "sales book" that functions without fail several months later, this is a good choice, in my opinion.

I like this portfolio and it works for what I need, which is a place to store my calendar book and various paperwork and a couple pens without having to worry about dropping something - because it zips closed and everything is contained. It’s a nice upgrade from the computer paper clipped to the inside cover of my calendar book. I’m left handed so the reversible writing pad feature was mandatory and it’s nice to be able to flip the orientation without the storage pockets/etc on the other side being upside down (which was a common problem with other similar “lefty-friendly” products). I do wish it had a little more room for more stuff inside. I have a large size monthly calendar book and a handful of papers inside it regularly. I’m not sure if a weekly/daily calendar book that has significantly more pages would fit inside and allow the zipper to close. As it is, I tried to put a small tin of hand balm into it and it couldn’t accommodate the 3/4”h x 2.5”w tin. If the front and back cover had a little more give it would be able to fit more inside, but that could impact the sturdy/professional quality. One last thing. The texture of the exterior is excellent for grip and preventing things from sliding off it while you’re carrying it (mail, small packages, etc.) BUT it makes it impossible to use it as a writing surface to take notes using loose leaf paper. The pen punches through unless there’s a stack of papers or something else between it and the portfolio. There are times when I can’t take notes with the portfolio open (standing up, small table) and it would be nice to have one side a bit smoother for writing on.

Great quality, just bulkier / heavier than I expect.

I like the item, and it looks very professional. However, I was surprised it is heavy and bulky than I expected. It wont fit in a brief case or messenger bag as its already size of a brief case, but without a handle.

Samsonite quality , genuine leather , and a very resistant texture on the other parts that are not leather. Size is perfect for an iPad 11” ,wallet,phone, keys, and protein bars. Nothing more.

I bought this for my husband to contain his inspection paperwork and was pleasantly surprised that it was simple, yet sharp looking. it served a purpose. The real test though, came when he had placed the portfolio on his truck bumper one afternoon and forgot it. He watched it fly off the bumper in his rear view mirror doing highway speeds in multiple lanes of traffic. As it enclosed important client measurements and readings, we had to go back and try to find at least some of the paperwork, expecting to see it scattered all across the lanes of traffic. To our shock, it had bounced through traffic and landed up against a concrete barrier, where it sat safely for us to retrieve. It had clearly been run over at least once, but as you can see by the attached pictures, it held up AMAZINGLY well. I'm sure Samsonite won't sell it as "run over proof", but it goes to show how good the quality is.
