K&N RF-1041DR Red Drycharger Filter Wrap - for Your RF-1041 Filter

Easy installation on my 63-3082 code intake for my 2014 GMC Sierra. Will prolong my changes and will also get rid of the bugs that always find their way on to my K&N filter for some reason. Not to mention it looks ultra cool! It's worth it.

I drive moderate back roads regularly, as well as high desert of Eastern Oregon a few times a year. This gives me peace of mind when it comes to the fine dust and dirt on those roads. Makes cleaning the filter easier and looks great!

Awesome add on for a HEMI powered WK2 Grand Cherokee. Very simple installation with no real surprises. Good quality clamps and accessories. Definitely notice a sound difference (deep rumble) on acceleration as well as improved throttle response. Added the K&N filter cover to help protect against any moisture/rain that may enter the engine bay. Complete install took only 45 minutes taking my time. We'll see if there is any MPG improvement, way too early to tell.

Highly recommend if you drive in dusty areas. This will protect the filter, and prolong the intervals between cleaning. You can verify fitment on the manufacturers website.

Concerned about material longevity, though upon inspection I am proud to see a made in the USA tag on the pre-filter.

Looks good and reduces maintenance for the open air filter. very tight to get on. A little pricey for what it is but it does serve its purpose well.

Keep the bees, hay, and other debris out of your pleats!

This dry wrap fits perfectly on K&N's RF-1041 conical filter. It provides some water resistance, but I mainly purchased it to prevent large debris from collecting on the K&N conical filter to prolong the time needed to clean the filter. I first started using the dry wrap on the K&N filter for my Cobalt SS Turbo because I wanted some extra filtration to protect the turbo impeller. It basically slips over the conical filter and makes the engine compartment look more colorful. It also fits on the Steeda/Shelby GT/FRPP conical cold air filter for the 05-09 Mustang GT. Coincidentally, the RF-1041 filter looks to be an exact replacement for the aforementioned filter, except the RF-1041 has a chrome end cap, whereas the OEM aftermarket conical filter has a velocity stack end with filter media. Overall: 5/5 stars, kind of pricey for basically a polyester/fiberglass sock but it works.

Nice snug fit, should make cleaning the filter a lot easier as this pre filter will reduce the amount of debris and contaminants reaching the filter itself. Happy with purchase.
