LEGO Superheroes Avengers Hydra Showdown

This is an excellent Lego set. It has two vehicles, 3 minifigures, and one superjumper. Minifigs: Hawkeye: Finally, a Lego Hawkeye that ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE HAWKEYE!! They totally improved his hair, improved his suit, and now he looks excellent. Compare the pictures. Thor: Excellent. He actually has a new face, so that's cool. I love the new soft capes that they have now. Hydra Henchman: Since they're only in the movie for like ten minutes, I guess it's pretty accurate. You can get another one in the Age of Ultron Hydra Fortress Smash set. The set: This is an excellent set. Definitely. I love Hawkeye's jeep. It's so... authentic looking. It has two flick fire missiles >=( They hurt my fingers. They should be replaced with stud shooters! I love the build and design for Hawkeye's jeep, because it's really spacious compared to other Lego jeeps. Hydra henchman vehicle: This, overall, is actually also a good build. it is flat in the front, and high in the back. Like Kansas. It has a stud shooter on top, which can actually be knocked down with the super jumper. Super Jumper: It damages the minifigures legs. So, put to 1x1 studs on each hole, and you'll be good to go. Now, personally, I don't like the Super Jumpers. They're like those frog jumpers, and I'm horrible at it. Anyhow, you take down the telescope atop the Hydra vehicle, and you can use Thor to knock over the gun thingy.

Great gift for grandson

This was a great set! My 8yr old was thrilled to get this and he had it assembled in less then 2 hrs! The details of the super heroes are great! Hours of fun have been had with this set. It has two complete vehicles that can be assembled from this kit.

This is the perfect toy to balance out time spent on games,computer etc. This Lego set gives child quite time and encourage creativity for ages 6-12, In my opinion even a 14 year old would enjoy this Lego set. My son is a fan of Lego and I just love it.

I mostly bought this so I could get the Thor and Hawkeye minifigs. It was relatively cheap considering it came with two avengers characters and it was a fun and easy build. I plan to use it for a diorama but I think this set could easily be a good intro to legos for kids too.

Avengers Hydra Showdown is exactly as advertised; an entertaining and delightful set, perfect for children. However, upon careful inspection of the LEGO set, I found myself unimpressed. The Jeep-like Avengers vehicle, although sporting a clever design at first glance, after consideration leaves much to be desired. The vehicle is entirely without doors, leaving the driver vulnerable to the whimsy of war. Not only that, this facade of a tactical vehicle has no roof on the cab, furthering the exposed position of the driver. Atop the cargo compartment perches a hideous contraption loaded with LEGO's nod to the violent demographic - the absurd flick fire missile. What a Jeep-imitation is doing with a missile cannon I do not know, but nevertheless there it sits, wrapped in lurid rotating glory upon the rear portion of the vehicle. I began my modification of the design almost immediately, and have pulled together several suggestions I would advise the LEGO company to consider. First of all, safety first. The cab must be better protected; in this case, I'd consider doors and a roof. I took the liberty of lowering the driver's seat to give him a lower center of mass and a better protected position in case of collision. With little regret, I replaced missile-launcher with a communications array. I believe that with more time and effort, I can improve the design of this vehicle to the point that even it's original creators would be unable to recognize it as the same vulgar construct it began as. And don't get me started on the Hydra car...

I bought this for my 8 year old's birthday. The package contained great step by step instruction. The builder set is a super hero vehicle builder set. This set accompanies his collect of superhero builder sets. My son really enjoyed the addition of vehicles to his collection.

Good price for a over 200 piece Lego set. My grandson spent a couple of days making it which is better than his usual 1 hour for $50!! This weekend he asked me to buy him a Lego figure on Amazon for $20! I said, "No way!!!" With a little looking, you can find good deals on Amazon.

Very very lovely and interesting for the children. Quality is quiet well.

My grandson loves LEGO and he is going to love this. Haven’t opened it as it’s a Christmas present but I’m convident he will love it.

Grandson really enjoyed putting this together, ordered the avenger mini toys to use with lego and they were great also.
