Been looking around for a while for a camera to add to the back of our VW campervan to add a bit of reassurance when reversing on campsites where children might be present. Felt this device, whilst not the cheapest, offered a decent quality image, but was a lot cheaper than retrofitting manufacturer cameras. I knew that the installation on our van would not be easy, simply because routing the wiring neatly required the removal of the rear door lock, but that is not the cameras fault. The device arrived well packaged and in good condition and the weekend arrived so installation commenced. Generally installation was simple if you do a bit of research first about your own vehicle and the wiring instructions were easy to follow. The big moment came all connected up, ignition switched on, screen powers up, select reverse, no picture. Checked connections and nothing changed. Came back in house very dejected feeling might have wasted money. Decision, dismantle and return or email support desk. Chose the latter and had a very prompt reply from Joanne, checking what I'd done and suggesting a potential solution. Next day went to try this and it worked! So thanks and well done Joanne. The picture is good, clear and steady and will help a great deal. Due to the travel restrictions we can't go anywhere at the moment so I have only reversed back up the drive, not the biggest test for it. Despite this I can fully vouch for the camera and the service, very happy.

Installed this on an Audi A4 B8 (2011) - Easy installation however keep in mind that the reverse light wiring is in one unit on the A4 B8 models, so use a multi-meter to determine the exact wires needed. Camera quality is decent, the suction on the camera was not great for the dash but this is more due to the texture of the Audi dashboard. Stuck it to the windscreen instead and works a charm. Great product, fairly easy to install and allows for a safer reversing of larger cars.

Picture quality is adequate for the purpose as a near rear view and reversion camera on our 6m motorhome. Installation was straight forward, though unfortunately there was no easily accessible live feed available at the rear of the vehicle other than lights, so we need to have headlights on for full time use as rear view camera. No idea what I’m expected to report for “sheerness” so have given middle score! The sticky pad won’t stick to a textured dashboard without some mechanical help (a single screw).

I wanted a reverse cam for my campervan not only for reversing but for use as a rear-view cam while driving. Attaching it to the exterior would be troublesome as my number plate is a stick- on one, so I can't mount the camera as suggested, and it would be difficult to find an ideal spot on the outside anyway. So I mounted the camera using a suction-cup phone holder on the rear window. I fixed the camera to a piece of wood to make it wide enough to fit the holder. When I powered it up, it worked perfectly, right out of the box, with a good clear picture. The 720p resolution is fine for that size screen. I just want to see what's behind me, not make a movie. When the monitor is switched on (plugged into a cigar lighter socket), it stays black until it picks up the signal from the camera at the back. This happens as soon as the camera is supplied with 12 Volts. The camera is powered from a separate source than the monitor. This would be the reversing light circuit if you just wanted it for backing up, or the tail (or number plate) light circuit if you wanted it on while driving (just turn side lights on to activate). In my case, as the power to the camera is always on, connected to the leisure batts, I put a little £14 wireless remote switch between the power supply and camera, so I could leave it plugged in but turn it on and off remotely.

I wanted an 'always on' rear view camera for a motor home so wired this into the number plate light which made sense as the camera also sits on the number plate. As long as I drive with sidelights on I have a continuous rear view of the road. The K7 wifi worked straight out of the box and was easy to install. I have stuck the monitor on the windscreen and so far it has remained in place. The image quality is fine for me and you do get options for adjusting the guidelines and the view (mirror view or normal view). You also get the option to register your purchase with the manufacturer for an extended warranty period and this was followed up by a nice email from their support team. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

The product is easy to install- the quality of the picture on the monitor is low definition and is only just adequate. The quality shown , in the advertising, is not reproduced on the product.

I purchased this for my van and thought it would be perfect as you don’t have to feed wires all the way from the back to the front. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it’s excellent. Very easy to install. I had one small issue, but messaged the seller and they responded quick and resolved the problem. Believe me, you get excellent customer service! The system is really good. Brilliant picture quality, no lag and easy install! Hopefully it’ll last the test of time!

Easy to fit and like the idea of not having to trail wiring through car. Picture whilst not top notch is actually pretty good. Only issue is the splicers for the reverse light as they need a lot of pressure to get them to splice especially as most reverse light wires are quite thin. Apart from that minor issue the camera is awesome. Monitor won’t stick to dash but stays attached to windscreen but i am trying to work out if i can mount the monitor onto my sunvisor so it hides it away whilst not in use
