Not as I expected it to be
Very brief and summarized. It doesn't contain enough details of the teaching methods compared to Diana Larsen Freeman's book "Techniques and Principles in Language Teaching. Freeman's book is better and detailed. I even felt confused after reading it 😵💫 I don't recommend it.

O livro não se aprofunda muito em nenhum (e nem este é o propósito do mesmo), apenas apresenta a essencia de cada metodologia e em que consiste. é um livro essencial para professores de idiomas e pessoas que estejam estudando para um CELTA ou DELTA.

A useful book, which gives the reader a decent background in the theoretical debates that have shaped EFL. Definitely one for someone starting out on an MA in TESOL.
